ultimate party

I'm curious to see as to what people willl come up with....tell me what you think the ultimate party would be, for any given situation, pvm. The person who designs the most stylish and effective party will win a prize...I don't know what it will be yet, but I can assure you it will be grand.

I'm assuming u want an 8 person team so here goes.
1. Avenger
2. Fire sorc
3. Cold sorc
4. Fury WW Druid
5. BO barb for tanking
6. Lighting trap Asn
7. Summoner necro for awesome tanking
8. Strafe or Multishot Zon

There, I decided against a lighting sorc as well due to the Trapsin. With the Avenger the elementalists will own everything and the awesome tanks will protect them in almost all situations. Plus I got one of every class in there as well :).

Foh pally would benefit the sorceress too because of Convictioin. Hammerdin/wind druid/bone cannon can practically kill anything. Summoning necro's Are just plain fun, and mine beat hell solo with enigma, it would also use clay golem+curses to slow down monsters/lower resist/add more dmg. Singer would benefit everyone for life+defense, and he can use that one skill that stuns. .FIre and cold sorc and foh would give you every element. Wind druid would also have Oak sage for more life.

In this party the melee fighters ( zealot, barb, summonings and the mercs) all enjoy the 3 auras(might, concentration and fanatacism).
The casters (hammerdin, WindDruid, Sorc and trapper will kill the physical immunes easily.

I choose a heart of wolverine cause the barb already gives the party huge life. And with some good gear that will be enough.

2 orb sorc + 2 CL sorc + 2 fireball sorc + Singing baba + skelemancer(with lower resist).
massive killing power, the baba will use the defensive warcries and skelemancer will assure that enemies will stay busy and with low resists.

The theory:

The idea behind this party to create a roving blessedhammer storm. All the hammerdins would have uber life and resists. Individual hammerd damage is sacrificed for insane life and resists/absorb. The aggregate damage should more then be enough. The naked sorc will have no skill points spent and all stat points will be spent in vitality.

The challenge:

The game starts in act1 Hell. The sorc will be constantly walking (not running) to the next WP or next quest site. Her sole objective is to walk to the next area or boss or whatever needs to be done to finish the game. Her movement is constant and is independent of the hammerdins. She will continue to move to the next destination, even if it means walking into monsters and dying. The 7 hammerdin warriors have the task of escorting the sorc through the game. The idea is to form a protective circle that moves with the sorc and kills anything that comes in front of the group. It would be a good idea for a couple hammerdins to run ahead of the main group to scout and begin working on monster packs. If the sorc dies, the hammerdins(who each have 1 pt in sacrifice) lose and must face their punishment. They must now all hostile each other and duel ffa style using only Sacrifice. The last paladin standing wins and can do what he please.

Why is this the best party? Cuz I came up with it.

These guys would all be unarmed and forbidden to kill any enemies. Their task would be to run the bloody foothills and heal/boost the barbarian warriors enough to make them kill everything up to shenk.

1. Defensive support Pally - Max salvation, defiance, meditation, prayer
2. Offensive support Pally # 1 - Avenger, main benefit is maxed conviction
3. Offensive support Pally # 2 - Zealot, main benefit is maxed fanat
4. Necro Summoner
5. Hammerdin
6. Any fire/cold sorc - main benefit is tele, static
7. LF Zon with max valk
8. Barb with max BO + shout

Defensive pally has salvation for resists or defiance for physical during battle and switches between meditation and prayer while running to the next fight. You can't be the "best" team without a cleric.

Offensive support pally #1 is a beast even on his own. Can deal with PI's along with sorc, hammerdin and zon. Conviction helps himself, the sorc, and zon deal dmg faster.

Offensive support pally #2 can deal ridiculous amounts of dmg and his fanatacism aura benefits himself, the barb and the necro's minions.

Necro summoner provides tanks. He also casts amp dmg or lower resist depending on the situation and mows 'em down with corpse explosion. His minions would be a force too, considering fanatacism, concentration and amp dmg combined. Decrep + clay golem for act bosses.

The hammerdin has insane amounts of magic dmg, and an immune monster is extremely rare. Helps crowd control and also provides concentration to boost the other party members' physical damage.

Any fire/cold sorc to help out in the elemental dmg area. Static for bosses is a must. Also, deck her out with pure MF gear and let her get the last hit.

LF Zon for crazy crowd control. If you've ever seen one in action, you'd know what I was talking about. Combine that with conviction and/or lower resist and wow. Plus, her maxed valk is probably the best tank in the game.

Barb will provide the entire party plus minions with insane amounts of HP and mana with his BO. Also shout for added def. Obviously, he can mow 'em down with physical dmg as well. Let him pop some corpses with his find item too.

The barb is only there to BO the hammerdins and kill wailing beasts if the need arises.

This group would instantly obliterating anything. Think instant 8 player lister pack instantly dying.

One necro will be a 'mojomancer', who has only curses. One will be a bonemancer for delivering high damage to single targets, or in confined spaces like maggot lair. The rest will be summoners. One summoner will specialize in mages for ranged elemental support, the other five will have skeleton warriors. All will have a clay golem for super-slowess of as many monsters at once as possible.

Just imagine it: 8 clay golems, 60+ skeleton warriors, 12+ skeleton mages and 8 skinny grey men.

8 hammerdines with 8 holy freeze mercs would totaly destroy everything
