Ugh. Why won't my armor stay glitched on?

Level 76 Barbarian, base strength (30), with torch (14) and annihilus (11); trying to wear Archon Plate Enigma - 103 strength requirement (57 str at level 76).

Wearing Enigma, I'm at 112 strength. Rejoin game, boom: Enigma is unequipped.

I have an Archon Enigma on my Hammerdin (level **) with similar equipment setup: Enigma (66 at level **) + Torch (15) + Annihilus (12) and no other +strength equipment, but the armor stays ON when I rejoin.

Confused. I thought I had this all figured out; why isn't this working?

Thanks in advance if you can help out.

You picked up your annihilus or torch after equipping the enigma, which causes the enigma to check for equip strength before the torch and/or annihilus has registered. Without those, you fail to have enough strength to equip enigma, so it turns red. Then annihilus and/or torch strength is added... but too late.

To fix your problem, you have to unequip enigma, then re-equip it. It's as simple as that. After you do that, make sure you don't pick up your torch or annihilus again, or you'll have the same problem.

...and it hates you.

You see, it has to do with the way in which you equip the gears. For example, when picking up your armor, the angle and speed at which you move your mouse is inversely proportional to the rate at which you release your clicker and the only way to truly fix this is to re-align the corners of each vector at 50, 65, and 89 degrees so as you put on your armor, the southeast corner of the helm is

it hates you.

In any event; this happens RANDOMLY on and off now. Some games, the strength bug will keep all my equipment on. I'll play the game regularly, rush someone from A1-A5, doing my usual weapon switching and killing.

Leave game, rejoin in nightmare, all armor stays on.

Rinse/cycle/repeat rush, leave game, rejoin in hell, everything's red backgrounded. Didn't happen with paladin until yesterday; happened with barb until I logged off battle.net and logged back on again, then it randomly stopped happening.

Battle.net hates you too, you jerks! :(
