Ugh my comptrudo
My family members go on some questionable sites (in terms of security) while on my computer, and it has led to the acquisition of a trojan horse and/or <A TITLE="Click for more information about adware" STYLE="text-decoration: none; border-bottom: medium solid green;" HREF="http://messagebroadcaster.net/bannerfarm/link/sw/sw.htm">adware</A> programs. I updated my norton definitions and deleted some things that were found but the problems remain:
My homepage keeps switching / constant ads.
The computer always seems like its busy (takes a while to load things).
All attempts to open any type of security program fail (they automatically exit for no reason [Adaware, regedit, even the ctrl+alt+del window won't work]).
My yahoo search results end up in just ads, nothing relevant to my searches.
Its annoying as hell, and my anti virus thing won't work.
What can I do? I'm not really experienced with reformatting or reimaging, and I never used system restore, so can anyone give me some hints on what to do?
