UFC Predictions?

Well 92 is only a few days away and I just wanted to hear some thoughts or predictions from you guys regarding the three main cards, Evans vs Griffin, Nog & Mir, and the one I personally want to watch.......Silva vs Jackson. I'll start I guess.

Nog vs Mir:
I'm going to say Big Nog will win, both guys are sumbmission experts and there's no way Mir will KO Nogueira, and I think Nog has a better BJJ. I think it'll go to a decision for Nogueira.

Evans vs Griffin:
I don't even know who Rachad Evans is really, other than when he KO'd Liddell last time and did beat Stephen Bonnar, but I'll go with Forrest on this anyways.

Rampage vs W. Silva :yes:
Here comes round 3, Silva should have a huge psychological advantage over Jackson, since he did beat him twice already, and Jackson is coming off a pretty bad loss to Forrest. I believe Silva can do it again.

2nd one is harder call for me, I haven't seen Evans fight enough. One huge opportunity when fighting Forrest is that he loves to stand and brawl.... on any given day someone can take that perfect hit and get KO'd (altho Forrest has taken amazing beatings and battled thru).

If it goes to the decision it will be Mir that wins. Though that's not going to happen, Nog will have Mir beat by round 2.

Silva to win by KO

Not sure on the other fight.

Mir vs Nog.

Nog will take this one. He as decent striking ability and expert BJJ. Mir as pathetic striking ability so there's no chance he can KO Nog. Besides has Nog ever been KO'ed? Vegas has the odds on Nog by a huge margin.

Griffin vs Evans

Evans is undefeated. I think this one is split. If it goes the distance, judges will give it to Griffin. If not, Evans will KO Griffin.

Wanderlei vs Rampage

Wanderlei will take this one. He's already beaten Rampage twice at PrideFC where a boxing type ring favors strikers. Rampage is purely a striker and he lost there.

I like Mir and Forrest, but I don't really keep track closely enough to know who's favored. I don't like Rampage one bit - but I feel more pity for him after having read this.

P.S. When do I get to see the snot beaten out of Anderson Silva? I'm starting to hate that little bugger.

Hate to tell ya, but Jackson just KO'd Wanderlei Silva in the first round...
Oh yea, Anderson Silva maybe champ for quite a while, but there're rumours of a match b/w him & GSP maybe be ahead in the next year or so, perhaps Silva will lose then.

GSP is stepping down a weight class to fight BJ Penn @ UFC 94.

Silva is one weight class above GSP so how's that going to happen?

Isn't BJ moving up in weight to fight GSP, for the welterweight title?
Plus it's not impossible for GSP to move up a division, like Silva did against Irvin. GSP only has to defend his title and dominate everyone long enough before they fix a match up for them two.

If that is the case, then I stand corrected. I didn't think anyone can defend that many titles.

However, I think Anderson Silva's next opponent will be Rampage.

Well perhaps we'll see GSP & Silva go at it in Ultimate 2009? You gotta admit it would be a sick fight.
I think Rampage may get another title shot after his win, I can't see anyone else who's in a better position to get one, I mean Forrest only beat him by a "controversial" decision.

Looks like I called one, hinted at the 2nd....

but no one it seems predicted the crazy Rampage win. He is a fierce fighter with a lot of inner fire, but coming off that horrible loss and the personal problems, I just didn't think he could do it.

And wow.. someone finally beat the hell out of Forrest =p I love the quote I read from him:
"I don't remember being hurt," Griffin said after the fight. "I just remember waking up."
