ubering with my sorceress

hey guys,

iv'e been saving up for quite a while to outfit a new lightning sorceress with expensive gear. i'm planning to go vita over ES (i'll mainly PvM) and i was wondering if this sorc will be able to uber reasonably effectively.

are there any gear changes (for me or merc) that will need to take place in order for me to successfully defeat the ubers? or will sticking with my normal vita sorc gear be sufficient.

is ubering with a light sorc even possible?

NO (short answer) or NOOOO (Merc gets killed there).

I think uMephisto is Light immune and you merc can't kill uMephisto.
uMephisto have higher conviction than your merc, so infy is useless against uMephisto.

Also, their regeneration is crazy fast, and with a dead merc and a non-melee sorc, how will you stop their regeneration, hmm?

No.

Ubering with a sorceress, alone, is impossible -- unless you go melee. But if you go melee, there's 5 other classes in the game which does that much, much, much better -- the only one worse at melee is necromancer, who actually have a much better chance to uber with his summons than a level 99 sorc with skill level 99 chain lightning.

max lightning mastery
max meteor and synergies

the items appear to be

passion phase blade
dream shield
dream helm
laying of hands
mage fists

for meph
switches to eternity phase blade for revive charges
switches to pheonix monarch for redemption aura

There's a thread for that too it's here near the bottom of page he says his gear/strats. Ubering with sorc will probably be more expensive than a smiter but you'll be unique

Zealots with 1 pt in Smite, hands down.

Rickster, well that's a melee sorc. The best would be a smiter I think. Mixing zeal into everything kinda ruins it all for me. I just want to go to the ubers, and hold down the button until it's finished

Yes, there is good guides for UT Smiter in paladin forums. Read few of them, and make your own.
