Uberable?

I'm making 1 point uber smiter with zeal/fanat as main for general pvm and mfing. I C people withj these other builds with totally shopped gear godly godly all around and then they go to uber and get there @%#$# spanked. Is here any boss in-game that compares to even one of the minr uber bosses? And is a 1 point smiter truler viable as uber material with just what you can get on a budget of legitly found items, runes, and pgems? Would a frenzy barb be a better build for this perpose? Crushing Blow, this is the weakness of the Ubers. Since Smite always hits, so crushing blow always triggers, combine CB with Life Tap, presto, a whacking machine. The more CB you have, the better, Life Tap is a must to survive. So a paladin that has only an 1 pt in Smite is viable. Get cheap weapons that has CB (like Black runeword, Goblin's Toe) and Dracs for Lifetap. However, there is always a technique when you enter Uber Trist:

1. Enter the portal, walk towards up and then left and down, try to find Meph and lure him up again. Always separate the 3 ubers, people die because they fight them all at once. Salvation is best aura to use here or use lots of resists armor (Kiras, COH, 4PDiamond Shield) to counter Meph's conviction aura. I always use Smite+Salvation here. If Meph's dead, now time for Baal or Diablo. Kill the annoying skellies around him with Zeal afterwards.
2. At the right side is Diablo, go up again and turn right then down. Fight him in the corner until he drops. Smite+Fana him. Zeal his minions afterwards.
3. Then at the center, go and fight Baal. Smite+Fana him. Baal's summons are PI's, you must use anti-PI weapons (like Gimmershred) or just use Grief (Fire Damage and Venom works well). After this, collect your Torch. You can kill the ubers in 1 to 2 mins. Don't hesitate to drink full rejuvs when necessary.

I have seen a video on youtube showing a Smiter pwning the ubers in under 1 minute. The video is showing the smiter against 3 bosses together. I tried to match his record using my technique but I exceeded 1 minute because I was playing with the minions. Try to search for Cheap Uber Trist Smiter guides for more detailed explanations for cheap weapons and armors. Cheers!

1 point smiter zealot is enough (more than enough) for ubers with some special tricks:

except what xtreme paladin said
- good smite dmg shield, 500+ is enough i think but look for 1k+
- treachery, prebuffed fade, i love this trick
- if have some static field caster weapon (i use stormlash for this)
- running all the time to seperate brothers , if have godly items u can just rush to all them

noone would believe me what i used for the first time on ubers even poor/low lvl gear can create miracles lol

I'd recommend stormlash, redeemer, astreon's or heaven's light at least for weapons before going.

I run ubers without much problem. Meph gets me when he's at around 5% sometimes. I'm currently only using

Guillaume
Dracs
Gores
Smoke RW armor (trechery prebuff as well. its cheap and simple)
Metalgrid (not a huge deal, but get some +res ammy even a prismatic +25 will do)
Ravenfrost (A must just so you dont freeze)
a life leech ring, but sometime i forget to swap off my nature's peace so really this slot isn't too important. Get some more resists from here
Nosferatu belt I think I still need the ias. You can get extra res from an ik belt if you want
Heaven's light with shaelshael to get my attack speed up.
My shield... a piece of crap... a spirit exception shield with 43fr 77rest. Try to get an elite shield. It will up your smite damage plenty. Mine is rather bad minus resists.

upped hoz is great for smiting, or a spirit made in a sacred targe or rondache will work well too. and of course if you are obscenely rich an ebugged vortex exile is awesome.
