Tyrael's Might

Tyrael's Might

Ok.. So I found this armor..
And well it is just TOO cool not to use on a char..(Also too rare to leave on a mule)
My preference going to a Paladin..

I have google'd and could not find any build using this armor.
Makes me think its crap.. when in fact. It is merely overshadowed by the runeword armors.

All in all I find it a decent PVM armor..

Now!.. What kind of Paladin build would be the MOST viable PVM?
Im open to all suggestions..Even really crazy ones.. as long as they function well..

I thought of a zealot...made a few tryouts in SP..

How about a charger.. Would that work?? with the right weapon..

It doesn't really have any specialized mods. And it does suck quite much. It's ntot only overshadowed by the runeword armors, but by guardian angel, Arkaines valor and the gladiators bane etc too. I think it would be good on a caster, with its -req andnsince it has no melee mods.

Of course it would work on a charger, what doesn't? What is fun for you to play? Personally I would stick away from a caster but that is just my love for tele.

I hate tele. it's a mana-draining monster for lazy people imo ^ ^

Re: Tyrael's Might

Insight is not the cheapest item for an un-twinked and takes a merc equipment spots. Mana pots don't help that much since untwinked characters can do about 7 teleports before they run out of mana

Weell, Insight is a looot cheaper than a Tyraels might :p.
and tbh Ral + Tir + Tal + Sol are rather easy to come across.. Worst come to worst, make it in a normal Voulge

Aye, in my experience getting the runes for Insight is much easier than finding the best weapon to put it in. I can't count the numbers of 1/2/3/4 OS NON-Etheral CV I've found... 210 str requirement no thanks. So in the end I just put it in a 4OS Bill. Damage isn't fantastic but I rolled lvl 17 aura and that's really what counts for my character.

Personally I wouldn't bother putting Tyreal's might on a melee based paladin. Lumpor is correct that it is overshadowed by a lot of rune words, something like Duress would be far more practical for a zealot in my opinion. The only functionality I see for Tyreal's might is to basically make your low level characters un-hittable in PVM...

Also: Blue plate looks terrible on paladins in my opinion.

Well if your playing with only self found items in your d2 career, you won't be finding many high runes which makes Tyreal's Might pretty nice for a melee build, when Viper Magi takes the cake for caster armors.

@ Jarath

How would you reckon that? I really don't consider level 84 low.. but maybe that's just me..

Put it on a a1 merc since str is not an issue with it, give the gal good defense and some nice res the cbf is good too
