Two Questions about Ubers

Not realy about ubers more about the smiter.

Firstly, is there anyway to get around iron maiden owning me in furnace i keep oneshotting myself.

Second, after you get done a single ubers run, meaning little ubers too whats your average repain bill. i was talking to a friend and he said he never has to repair, im not sure if hes bull ****ting or if im doing somthign wrong, mine is usualy 70-100k

I assume that you're cursed with IM only a split second before you hit a monster? If not: activating Cleansing will greatly reduce the curse length. If you are, the only way to stop this from happening is not using an attack that does physical, melee damage. So either have a good ranged weapon on switch, or use a weapon with the Passion runeword in it, and use Berserk (which does magic dmg, not physical) to kill your enemies? :S

Some weapons and armors cost an inhuman amount to repair, especially if they are superior and elite, for instance. My zealot used the Hand Of Blessed Light for a VERY short while, and every point of durability costed like 800 gold to repair. -_-

I hope your joking about the 800 gold to repair being alot (unless you meant 8000), for Berserker Axes it is 8704 gold per durability point, and on Archon Plate armors it is something like 22k per point.

Alright that makes me feel beter about the repain bill. semed kinda weird.

But theres no way to get around iron maiden then? caus ill be smiting izzy like np with max attack speed then i die in .00001 seconds and have no time to react to the curse. nothing makes you imune or anything eh

If he uses a grief in a pb then his weapon bill would be zero

I hope your joking about the 800 gold to repair being alot (unless you meant 8000), for Berserker Axes it is 8704 gold per durability point, and on Archon Plate armors it is something like 22k per point.

Well, it was a lot for me, thank you. I've never used either BA's or AP's so i wouldn't know that, but having to pay 40k to repair juts my weapon after a Baal run on NM, without GF gear or anything, still didn't sound very inviting to me.

Edit: don't forget that there are cube recipes to repauir your weapons and armor.

There's no way to get around IM no, apart from using a ranged attack or berserk all the time.

For IM I usually throw gimmershred or I equip a bow merc with a windforce. Either way it sucks and it's slow. You should have the Oblivion Knights killed before you hit Izzy. Otherwise you are bound to die...

Are you teleporting to him? (dangerous business... some do it effectively I hear, but it worked poorly for me last season)

If you use a grief phase blade there is no repair bill because phase blades are industructible. What are you using for equipment?

Well, not all of us can afford Lo (and therefor Grief), but Lightsabres and Azurewraths are also indestructable.
