equip:

dream hat
dream shield
jewelers greater talons of quickness(3x shael, or 2x shael + 1 ar/15% ias jewel)(need 95% ias)
duress armor(crushing blow, cold damage) maybe aldurs
switch:
beast
spirit monarch
goblin toe or gorerider boots or aldurs mixed with armor
verdungo belt

also maybe hsarus belt/boots combo for more ar

ring 1: raven
ring 2: angelic
amulet: angelic
gloves: something with crushing blow, or dracs for open wounds and chance to cast lifetap
charms:
10xsteel grand charms with life
1 anni
9x small lit damage with life

skills:
max fade(mostly for pdr bonus)
max claw mastery(mostly for ar)
max venom
max blade shield
merc would be blessed aim with an infinity polearm

according to the Dragoon's calc, this style claw setup means 2 frame attack, which is 12.5 per second...this i think is wrong and its actually 3 frame, which is still 8.3 attacks per second(the same speed as fastest follow up kick from the zeal like assasin skill)

anyway, the bear skill counteracts the weakness of the assasin(low life, low defense) and vice-versa...the dual dreams are for the massive 1600 lit damage they can produce

you will need a lot of dex ~300 for good blocking, but no matter, you need the ar and defense anyway...id put the dream helmet in a bone visage or demon head and the dream shield in a trolls nest

i have not been able to do this char yet, cuz the friggen claw is hard to find...but what do you guys thing...also, id like to know if i am correct about the +1 frame thingy on dragoon's calc...i wanna see if i should spend the 10 or more shopping hours itll take to find the claw(rerolling same thing, long time)


another option ive thought of...maybe a little more traditional would require another wicked claw(rare, high ed, quickness, 2 sockets) and would go with a fortitude armor and a phoenix shield and probably a guillame's face helmet...the charms would all be switched for max damage/ ar charms and the merc would be a might merc with a pride runeword...this would back the speed off by 1 frame, but i think a potential 3 or 4k damage could be possible(claws do wicked damage)

anyway...lemme know what you guys think about either build

yea if a came across that claw i'd make that same bear. that'd be one killer assassin. since you're maxing claw mastery and venom, your could easily outshift and go for a ww attack on people you cant catch (put a chaos on switch). its funny tho because people now regard the best of the best as average and now the best or the very best or the bestest best best very best is simply just the rare things that no one can find.

If you want to balance out the damage, consider a shael bartucs or a 15%ias fire lizards, those are both cheaper than this claw would be and still hit at 5 frames.

Although the cheapest would be a 3 shael runic, which would still hit at 3...


Why do you want blade shield? I would opt for shadow warrior / master atleast.

Is it possible to charge up say tiger strike and shift to werebear, or will the charge disipate?

You can still use weapon block in were form yes? Possibly use a jade talon for higher resistance...

even if it were possible it would be a pain in the arse to have to shapeshift all the time to charge up, it would leave you open to attacks.

The extra damage from dream isn't worth it in my opinion, dream was really designed for sorcs and paladins the other characters can't get the huge damage out of it. Only the sorc can get dreams into the 50K+ range.
