Trouble launching D2 With new D2 EXP CD

Well. My old D2 EXP CD broke so bought a new one.
But when i put in the drive and press on the D2 Icon on my desktop a window pops up telling me to insert a D2 EXP CD.............

When i go into My Computer and launch the D2 CD the Install Menu is slightly different than the old one.

So. Is there an easy way to solve this or do i have to uninstall and then reinstall again?

If you've updated to the most recent version, copy all of the MPQs on the D2 EXP CD to your hard drive. That should cause the no-CD feature to kick in. Alternatively, it used to be that if you registered at the Blizzard Store with your CD Keys, you'd be able to download the CD images. I don't know if this still works or not.

Connect the CD-key to your battle.net-account (www.battle.net ->Add new game -> type in cdkey). Then just download the game from there. The downloaded client will not require any CD for usage.

Thx for the advise guys.
I chose to reinstall though. This is because i run 2x D2 with Sandboxie and i thought that doing the non CD-thing midgt cause me problems...

But my misery doesnt end here. I installed the D2 which didnt cause me problems. Now for D2EXP. I put the CD in the drive and type the password and press ok. Im then asked to put in the D2 Play desk. I do that and press ok. Installing starts. After a while im asked to insert the "D2 LOD disc 1". I put in the D2EXP and press ok but nothing happens....................................................... What am i doing wrong here?

I noticed that the ned D2EXP CD has a 24 digit password. The old ones i have only have 16 digits...

Help would really be appretiated

I'm running another D2 instance with Sandboxie as well and it works just fine. I don't see how the no-CD feature should cause any problems. In fact, it's more likely that checking the CD's copy protection doesn't work in a sandbox because it could need user privileges which the sandbox might not offer.
