What's not to be excited about? So you're turning an age...at least you don't work for a legion of putzes all with a collective I.Q. of 43 at a dead-end job where it is required to get seven signatures to buy a part to fix a machine that should have been replaced 10 years ago and when you do finally get all the signatures they tell you it is a redundant piece of equipment so there really isn't any reason to repair it so all the time you spent researching pricing and tracking down the best place to purchase it was wasted and then you are criticized for not being as productive as Scotty Sychophant over there who nobody can stand any way but he gets all the praise and all the bonuses and will most likely be your boss someday.

that and probably combined with the fact that no one felt i could do it... they were probably right. but if the job description had "Drink alcohol from bar to 'test out new drinks'" under the job description, who wouldn't want to do that?

It's the most terrible train accident which ever happened in Germany. A high-speed train derailed at 200 km/h and crashed into a bridge because one of the wheels broke. A hundred people died. Not really a good picture for a birthday thread IMO.
