    Treachery Armor

How will treachery armor do on a PvM, Ribcracker fury Druid? As a pretty cheap choice of armor, you get 45 IAS, 20 FHR, and pretty much +60 to all resists (90 to cold!) with 15% physical damage reduction (if I'm not mistaken). And the extra 300 or so poison damage isn't completely useless. I'm comparing it to Smoke right now, and the only downside seems to be no %E Defense?... but does the % physical damage reduction make up for that?

    How does this sound:

Treachery (Great Hauberk or similar armor)
    Ribcracker (upped and shaeled)
    Jalal's (Um'ed)
    Drac's
    Gore Riders
    String of Ears (?)
    rare life/resist ammy
2 rare rings (resist / AR / life)
    or Dwarf Star?
charms to max resists and add to life and AR

    Maxing WW, lycan, Oak, Fury

Duress. You can manage a um rune no? Treachery is useful for prebuff tho

The defense is irrelevant. If you are comparing Smoke with Treachery, I'd indeed choose Treachery. Note though, that the IAS on it doesn't help you.

Yeah, I realized that after I posted. IAS only contributes to fury from weapons, right?

Duress doesn't give me enough resists (not enough resist all charms I guess). I did think about using Treachery until fade activated and then switching to Smoke (or Duress), but that's too much to carry around and too much to worry about - "Did fade run out yet? Nope. Oh, it's out now, switch back to Treachery" and such.

Thanks for the replies - keep 'em coming.

IAS from non-weapon sources counts too, but effectively it only works at lower speeds or low levels of WW. It's a bit difficult to explain simply, but basically off-weapon IAS and WW IAS are lumped together and there is a cap on the IAS you can get from those two sources combined.

I'd say that with Gores, Dracs and a Ribby you got nice amounts of CB and OW already, so if you really feel short on res, I'd take a Treachery over Duress too. Level 15 Fade is not something to sniff at. Also if your wolf gets faded that's pretty neat!

Ive used treachery on my buget builds for werewolves on early ladders. I loved them for pvm. You got 2 thumbs up from me with your items as is. But I would go with anglics.

Looks good, gores + ribby = 65% CB, so no need more. I like the treachery thing very well, and its stylish.

That seems kinda like a stylized choice, since from what I've read you tend to prefer the non-suicidal HoW. Either one really is a great choice, depending on what you need more, res or life.

Only reason I really use HoW is because he isn't a kamikaze :). Otherwise it'd be Oak.

    Re: Treachery Armor

For me, Oak has a bad tendency to find the strongest creature and attempt to give it a hug. HoW tends to stay away from creatures and runs when hit. Iono if it's just me or the AI since my Hunter doesn't have a problem with Oak.
