Traps and LR and Conviction
Does Lower resist or Conviction boost the damage that traps do?
I read up on -% resist and traps and it only mentions the jewels or bonuses that are gained from gear but no mention of LR or Conviction.
The FAQ says that the game considers traps like LS and DS and CBS to be "minions" and -% resists gear has no effect, since it only effects the elemental damage that your char itself does but this shouldn't apply to LR or Conviction. Those are "outside" sources of -%resists and both should boost damage from the traps. If this is an incorrect deducement lemme know.
If it is true then a good way to boost damage out put and remove immunities would be to use a LR wand and have your Merc use Ininity.
