    Trapper decision is needed . Help here

    if i am making a non block ( no dex ) trapper, is dual claw better? or should i stick to spirit?

    Spirit is a very nice shield with some kickass bonusses...but you can easily get the +skills on claws and even more than the +2 on Spirit..also the resists are partially covered by Fade, and most important of all...if you use dual claws you can also use weapon block, that with just a few points invested gives you about 50% chance to block just about any attack in the game...So I think that dual claws is the winner.

    I generally find melee duels easy with my trapper, but without blocking I find that I get ripped apart by charge, and sometimes zeal/fury. I mean you can dodge fireballs and lightning but you can't really dodge charge and other melee skills. And at least if you get blocking you can slip on duel claws against casters and use a shield for melee duels.

    You are not a pvp character, so you don't have to walk so far to use a SHEILD :lol: :lol: :lol:

    AND some MAGIC claws could give very good skills to you. You can shop it from ANYA GIRL :D

    hm.. but with dual claw is hard to reach 102 fcr? i heard that is needed, with spirit i can eaisly reach the frame casting

    What does that even mean?

    Using duel claw you are probably going to be getting 65fcr from
    20 Trangs
    20 Arachnid's Mesh
    20 Amu/Circlet
    10 Ring

    I personally wouldn't go for anything more if I was going duel claw trapper, not that you really could with out some serious gear change.

    this is where things gets hard, if you want easy fcr and resistances and some good skill points, you should go for hoto/spirit road you can achieve 105% fcr easily. and have good resistance at the same time. but if you want weapon block as you have to go for dual claws, which means you will lose resistance and fcr.

    i would prefer the hoto/spirit in the end. with spirit you are not going to have max block, so i wouldn't suggest pumping up your dex or even strenghth. you will need minimum 155 strenght to equip spirit though so put your points according that enigma, anni would easily boost your stenght to that lvl if you have around base 80 strenght i think.rest on vita:) hope this helps.

    what don't you guys understand.

    if a trapper isn't planning on hitting the 174fcr bp with hoto and ss, then its useless to be a 102fcr sin using hoto and ss when you can be 102 fcr with 2 claws.

    And pray tell, how do you make a claw trapsin with that much FCR?

    I am making a 65% (that's all I can manage, even that little is tough ATM) claw trapsin for clan dueling, i was told that we mainly duel casters and the occasional bowzon.

    So for casters, claws all the way? And how to maximize FCR efficiency on dual claw trapsins?

    I think claw would be the best option, you can always socket with 15res jewels in off hand sockets and 15res/15ias in main hand sockets (if you can afford a +3trap/+3ls claw then you can most likely afford the jewels), or socket with whatever you require fhr etc. (you hopefully will have four sockets to play around with).

    Why the freak would you want over 100 fcr on a sin?

    What u want is enough res from your gear to be able to use BoS in duels, allowing for the 9 fps trap laying BP, max res, speedy R/W for avoidances sake, and whatever fcr u can get for MB and tele. You really do not need to spam MB that frikin much guys.

    I think Spirit also give 55% FHR, with dual claw..guess there wont be any FHR at all on ur trapsin?

    Lol I'm so poor I can't even afford to take FHR into consideration, let alone FHR skillers.

    A second question: Is breastplate enigma or dusk shroud enigma the way to go for claw/claw trapsin? The duels that will really count are against casters and bowzons, and I don't see how it makes a difference in public. I was thinking enigma breastplate because it gets me about 90 extra health before BO, but dusk shroud gives me a few hundred more defense.

    Base str 20 with enigma breastplate or 50 str naked wearing dusk shroud enigma?

    im with this guy cause even if u r a traper, there are gonna be people with immunities to u and u need to do sumthing to them, at least freeze them, so u could have a claw with like 1-150 lightning dmg and one with cols so u can hurt them and run away.
