I tried posting this in the Assassin Forum, but never got an answer.

What weapon, and IAS do I need for the fastest trap laying speed?
I heard Greater Talons with 2x 15 IAS jewels.
But can +3 trap, +3 LS be found on Blade Talons? Or do I need the -30 base speed on Greater Talons?

Also, does it matter what hand it is on? Because I would rather put more useful jewels on the second hand rather than IAS jewels.

I heard this can "AA" mind blast. But, I also heard Shadow Master often uses skills that I have the most points in. So would maxing Mind Blast be a good idea for PvP?

+3 trap +3 LS can be found on all Claws with the h2h2 basetype:
Hand Scythe
Greater Claws
Greater Talons
Scissors Quhab
Suwayyah
Wrist Sword
War Fist
Battle Cestus
Feral Claws
Runic Claws
Scissors Suwayyah

The WSM of both weapons is averaged, and only the IAS on the primary claw has an effect on speed. You need a total of 61% EIAS for a 9 frame trap laying speed, so with dual Greater Talons you'd need just 31% EIAS, which is 42% IAS. 20% IAS for 10 frames.

Depends, there is a radius in which she can see enemies, but if one teleports away and she just started the animation for Mind Blast/Dragon Flight the attack will follow to wherever the enemy teleported to. AFAIK the Shadow Master does not use the skills you have more points in more often than others.

WSM = "weapon speed modifier" sometimes called the base speed. The -30 of greater talons being an example.

EIAS = "Effective IAS". The actual percentage that attack speed is increased from base--not subject to the diminishing returns formula that item IAS is. WSMs and skill IAS (BoS, Fanaticism) are both forms of EIAS.

Like RTB said, both primary weapon and off-weapon IAS affect trap-laying speed, while secondary weapon IAS does not. So Treachery would help, and actually be enough on it's own as long as you're using a -30 weapon.

There's definitely been a relationship between the two observed in game, and it was backed up by one of the LoD coders recently. Look for the "Shadow Master and CoS" thread at a certain Alternative Board. I think you'll dig it.

Right now I have 2x +3 trap claws, and I plan on using treachery until I can afford Enigma (ladder). Putting shael in one claw (right hand) and putting resist jewels in the rest of the sockets is enough for 9 frame right? (This is with Fade)

As long as your other claw has a -20 or better WSM as well, and by "right hand" you mean the one to inventory screen-left, yes.
