Transfer system?

Transfer system?

Is there a way to transfer items without getting a friend to help you? Because I lost a Sigon's helm on ladder and some other insignificant crap (but significant to my low-level characters :p ) when I tried to join a public game and transfer (the creator left the game before I could rejoin). I thought that Blizzard had said there would be a tab you could click to cycle through all of your character's stashes and transfer things. Or did I just imagine such a cool feature? ;)

I think you imagined it hehe.

If you have two sets of keys you can just transfer with yourself. Or wait five minute in a game and it will be up for 10 minutes I think, and it renews each time you rejoin.

That feature would be cool but you were probably just imagined it.

There is a way to transfer items without a friend but it is very risky... what you do is make a game with name and password...and stay in the game for 5 minutes...minimum.
Now remember the name and password of the game, then leave and try to rejoin. If you rejoin, quit the game again then switch characters. then join the game. do so until your done.
there is a chance though that your game get deleted so it is alot more risky than doing it with a friend.

Yeah, but it still beats muling in public games.

I think its less than 10 min. It happened to me last night. I played for 5 minutes, and had no problems transferring by myself. When I got to my last character, I had problems joining. I got that annoying "Failed to join game" message. My computer was locked up for about 2 minutes at most. When it finally unlocked, my game had disappeared. Luckily, I only lost some low lvl stuff.

As I recall, the whole transfering from one character to another from a special tab was part of a post, possibly from another forum, about things that the author wished/claimed would be in 1.10. This was before the beta came out I believe.

There is a very nice single player muling program and that may have been the topic of conversation. But it wont work on the realms. I dont think Blizzard really wants people to mule so they have very little reason to help you out. I use two computers and it works like a champ, I tried it on one computer running in windows mode but never got it to work properly for me. It is not allowed anyway, but I gave it a try. You dont need much of a second computer, I started doing it on an old 486 that someone threw out, worked just fine as long as you did not want to move very fast. :uhhuh: Good luck.

sounds like you have enter and exit too fast to get such a lock. stay in game for a while before you exits and you wouldnt be "locked"

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's where I got it from. =\

Anyways, I had just hoped I wouldn't have to do that 5 minute thing or public things. Guess there's no other way. Sigh. Thanks anyways.
