Trang Poison/Summoner, PVM SP, how much to block?

I've now got my end game gear equipped, except the Nature's Peace ring.
I have no more Dex/Str requirements to fill.

I have 214 unused stat points

clvl = 68
Dex = 101 (86 on switch)
Block = 37%

I really don't want to just lay all these points down into Vit if I don't *need* them there. Am wondering how much would be worthwhile to put into Dex to help out from being hit.

Is there a calculator that will give me blocking diffs between standing still and moving while in vampire form?

Has anyone ever done a Trangs necro and attempted to get decent or even max blocking in PVM SP, players8, if so how did it work out?

If you walk in Vampire form (not run), your block remains at it's original number. If you run, it reduces to 1/3rd.

I thought Vampire's actually ran (in regard to blocking) even while walking?

Or are you speaking of whether I've got the run / walk command enabled?

yes.....make sure to go out of vampire form and be sure that you are walking, not running before switching to vampire form.....

if it looks like you are running when you are out of vampire form, then you would be "running" in vampire form although you're speed is the same as if you were "walking". So if you are "running" then you won't have max block. If you are walking outside of vampire form and you change to vampire form without changing run/walk then you would be "walking" at the same speed as "running" with max block....

Interesting, I thought it worked exact opposite.

well the point of trangs running speed is that it works with run or walk.....so therefore you can have full block while walking at running speed.....
