    tppked and mad

    Lvl73 trapsin charming_ck
She was quite good at doing NM shenk/eld/pin runs.

Then I made the mistake to take her to Hell.
Worse, I created a pub game to do quest.
Even worse, went into a TP to help some cold sorcs dealing with cold immunes. I got rid of the immunes, and she got TPPKed. I don't even know what it was, didn't seem like blizzard but I don't care about that story.

The worst part, some asshole bystanders start talking about how I should use MH and Chicken and boasts he never got pked.

You know that feeling of wanting to grab someone's neck and twist it 360 degress. Yeah, it felt like that.

ANyway, my first LS trapsin. She found enough goodies to make her career worth while. Never did get that +3LS +3 trap claw for her, what a waste.

Don't feel bad... those are rarer than Zod runes.

If I read this correctly, that was the thanks you got for helping them out ? What a bunch of low-lifes. Please post the account name of the 'insert really nasty word here' who did this.

Sorry for your loss - if we ever get another patch, I really hope they add a tickbox for pvp

    i sure as hell dont.

I'm sorry you lost your char, but you said it yourself (even worse i went to help a sorc having trouble with cold immunes) next time you'll know better, so its a learning experience yes? glass is half full :)

as per a pvp check box, thats the main reason i wont defect to GW. Sure it would solve alot of tppk problems, but the legit pk's are SOL now too. I for one would never pk if i didnt have to, I would so much rather pkk. Sit in wait of a PK who thinks he's about to kill a weak little pvm then pounce on him or her. So much fun, but cant kill pks (which is what i loved to do) if theres a check box either. Just my 2 cents

    cheers

    is tppk a program?
anyway its sad that some people lower themselves to that level, no respect at all, pfft.
personally, i do turn on my c3po when i go on public games ( only for the chicken feature )...its a risk, but hacks can be countered by other hacks.

TPPK is the act of firing projectiles, going through a portal, then hostiling.
The act is usually accomplished by use of a script, though it can theoretically be done without one.

I'll ignore the other part of the post in the interest of not causing a thread hijacking.

    I won't.
Very noble of you... tell me this: where does it end? Hacks countering hacks that counter anti-counter hacks?

Do us a favor and go back to softcore... oh, and welcome to the Hardcore Forum.

At first I thought it was sarcasm. Then I noticed how serious you were.

    erm,

theres a difference between chickening on hostile and chickening on low life.

i think the first is the lesser of the two crimes

but from what i can tell (in game) u use both

not like it matters, they are both hacks

Getting TPPKed is, well, sad. I don't think Blizzard ever intent to let a player pk someone safely from Town.

    But....

The worst part is not getting TPPKed. The worst part is having to hear some asshole telling me I should get Chicken and Maphack. I wanted to whack that dumb ass so bad......
