Torchadin variant

    well, thinkin of this char so looked into guides but it seems like its locked..

    anyway, thinking FoH + fire-aura based pally, ust because i got nothing to do...

    need to get 4 sox caduceous with at least +3 in FoH to get this started but anyway

    think this will be viable? here is what i am thinking

    Gear
    CoA - either berber (should be doable with double dragon) or 15 allres -15 req + ber for DR. swapping in griffon#s vs casters
    Dragon armor
    Dragon Shield
    HoJ Caduceous (with +3 FoH and possibly conviction if that'shard to get)
    Dungoes/rare fhr belt/arach/possibly siggard if i can get my hands on one lol
    Mara/Highlords/metalgrid
    BK + raven
    tri res boot
    20ias res gloves

    switch - Cta (in stash inside cube) grief + exile vs melee/ umed HoZ + faceted FoH stick vs casters (or rather and cta in one...)

    inv wil be full of offensive GC and som combat GC (I am not sure on here..) and sc spaces filled with all res charms

    skills will be
    25 conv with + skills
    20 resist fire
    20 FoH
    20 Holy Shock
    1 to fana
    rest in Holy shield (??)

    with this set up, i am unsure how much smite as back up dmg will be. i will not have a lot of skill points to spend as it is, and my fire dmg is somewhere along 3K average w.o salvation. (but i just don't think 6% is worth it, making around 1K+ dmg after 20skill point investment)

    using ONLY offensive GC, I think I will need around 9 points spent in conviction to get 25 skills. this, along with all 1 pts skills, mean I need to spend at least 86 skil points altogether.

    please critique or put some useful inputs on what you think, and where skills can be invested to make it better.

    currently I am unsure about
    1) holy shield vs smite vs fana for smite change when using grief.
    2) spend skills in salvation or not
    3) FoH worth it or just make this more focused on charge/smite instead?
    4) tele switch?
    5) good mix on GCs...offensive or combat
    6) if combat, just max out conviction then?

    ...that's a lot of things i am not sure about lol.

    That guide was in the strategy compendium, it seems to be empty atm :shocked:

    I'll let admins know about this issue.

    that would be why there is a grief switch and FoH.
    plus kira alone won't be enough to negate a fully decked out FoH, which means normally people will have to sacrifice a lot of DR/FHR and/or FCR etc to get resists. (unless you are a hammer and using inv fulll of 5 all resists scs or something)
    plus, I thought a lot of people viewed (incl myself) rising sun as bm.
