Top 5 reasons the Leafs will beat the Sens again!

    5) Sundin leads the league in 3rd period points

    4) Sens have never beat the Leafs int he playoffs

    3) Leafs have more depth and experience

    2) Belfour > Lalime

    1) More Leafs fans will show up to the Sens home games*

*I know because I've been to Sens games vs the Leafs. You see just as much blue and white as you do Sens jerseys. Not only that, but you can start a "Go Leafs Go!" chant and it will drown out a "Go Sens Go!" chant.

    GO LEAFS GO!

The Senators will win beacuse they know how to spell "leaves".

*hides from rabid hockey fans in the Carribbean*

When naming team or business (or person for that matter) you can spell it however you want or make up a word if you so choose.

I would have thought that hiding in the carribbean comment would have made it clear it was a light-hearted post. I'll make it more obvious in the future

Yeah I knew that. Perhaps what I said came out a bit rough. It's only 10:00 and it's been a long day already and I haven't even gone to school yet. My apologies. Here, have one on me. :drink:

I was hoping for Leafs vs Habs too. I would have been nice to see something different for a change in the playoffs. Plus that would have been the best series in the entire playoffs. Oh well, here's hoping they play in the third round! :drink:

I play travel ice hockey and im 13,I also do watch hockey, some of your points are wrong.
5.Is right Sundin is very good, but dont forget about Brian Leech.
    4.correct
3.They may have more experince ,but the Sens have speed.
    2. These goalies areon about the same level Belfour is maybe a little better, Lalime makes up for that with his size.
    1. Player usally dont care about home ice advanges, in fact its more pressure to play home,as Holik said it, The fans do boo u when u mess up.
    Other then that good post.

One reason why it doesn't matter who wins what will surely be a very exciting, physical series between Toronto and Ottawa:

    1) The Lightning are going all the way, baby.

I foresee the Lighting over the Islanders in 5, Montreal in 4, Philly in 5, then San Jose in 6.

Its always good to see kids who know so much about hockey.
Im a ranger fan (yeah its kinda embarrasing), so the way i see it theres not really a team that can win that wont have an ex-ranger on it. Personally though, i would like to see leetch(i think you spelt it wrong) win another cup before he leaves the sport. Im expecting to see the Leaves and Lightning in the eastern conference championship and i have no idea whos gonna win.

Lightning are good but beating montreal 4-0 and philly 4-1. Its just not gonna be that easy. And who do you think is gonna beat the wings and the Avs?

I was just being a little overly optomistic =)
The Lightning did sweep their four game series with the Flyers this year, however. If Khabibulin is on his A game, anything is possible with this team.

As for the Avs and the Wings, I see first round losses. Goaltending will be Colorado's downfall, while Detroit will underestimate Nashville and lose in a long series after going down 2-0.

Very wrong. Lalime doesn't come close to Belfour.

    Belfour: 34-19-6, 2.13 GAA, .918 SV%

    Lalime: 25-23-7, 2.29 GAA, .905 SV%

    Quite difference, especially in wins.

Also remember that Lalime has a hurt knee. If you've ever hurt your knee then you know it takes more than a week and a half to heal.

    Belfour > Lalime

Belfour just missed 4 games (iirc) with a back injury. Look for Ottawa to crash the net repeatedly.
Kidd gives the Leafs NO chance.

belfour is barely better than a sack of potatoes with a stick, except that he slashes people with that stick and takes penalties
