Tomb Reaver Question on Wolf

Hi All, I have a loaded wolf who cranks, I use a tomb reaver with "shael shael" I am thinking of using the last socket with 40%ED +14 max damage gem. Any thoughts?

An Ohm rune provides a slightly higher damage bonus than that Jewel. The extra 10% ed difference works out to be more average damage than +14 max:

10% of 91.5 = 9.15 average
average of +14 max = 7 average

Or you could use a Lo rune which would probably work out to give a higher damage overall than both of them.

i use the same thing, but i have a 40ed 1-87 lightning dmg jewel, should i use it or use something else. this is on ladder so i do not have any runes higher than an ist at the moment. thanks

I wouldn't. Save the slot. Else just put a Shael in and Hel it when you get better j00ls >.>
