To socket or not to socket? White is the question.

I recently got my rotten hands on a plain +3 to bone spear lich wand and I'm contemplating socketing it and making the white runeword in it. A few questions.

The runes are dirt cheap and i'm pretty sure i have multiple dols and ios on mules. But to me the socketing quest is somewhat valuable, and I'm planning on just trading the wand away once i make it (I don't play bonemancer)

Is a white wand like mine easily tradable? The thing is the runes are so cheap that I'm thinking everybody makes their own and it would be hard to find a buyer.

So should I socket, runeword, and trade it, or just charsi the wand.

Charsi it, or save it for someday to come, that wand is findable in the shopping menus... if you're getting something in the manor of 3/3/3 useful spells, it might be worth something. But save the socketing quest for another day.

Heya,

Only make it if you want to use it and want +8 spear or something. The big boners are generally all using Hoto anyways (unfortunately, I'm sick of seeing flails everywhere).
