To Ik or not?

I have recently found the full IK set and i was wondering if it was worth my time to make an IK barb or trade it away and for how much. Just a new member postin a question.

Well, you've kinda gotta build for it. I think IK stuff was meant for non-shield ww barbs, or maybe concentrators. If you want an ok pvm char then go ahead and use IK, but for pvp IK stuff doesn't cut it. :xx:

I have a ww IK Barb and he does well in hell. Max WW, a mast, BO, and Shout. Get your strength req done and then pump vit. If you use angelic combe and raven your ar will be around 10000, so you wont have trouble hitting stuff at all.

I play mostly barbs and most of the times, I take out my ik barb to play first. I say, "go go ik barb!" Its the most versatile character to play. It can cruise thru most of the acts in hell (except act 4 but we have berserk for that) and best of all, it can kill dclone with ease too. I know cos I've done it 3 times with my ik barb.

Only thing is, u can't duel with it but then again, the ik set is meant for pvm only. Go ahead, build your ik barb and have fun with it.

i'm currently rebuilding my ik barb just for the hell of it. it was the most ravenously fun barb i've ever played -- not overpowered and yet not dead.

now that i'm much, much richer than when i first had him, i'm considering making him my main barb -- even throwing on a mara's and a bk for good show. heck, a few skillers and an anni and i'm good to go.

then again that would hinder my zealbarb project. but we can't have 'em all, now can we?

yea agreed thanks for all the comments, i need to find a better helm, and wep because they're soceted with bad junk

Whirlwind barb,the maul is fast enough for ww(lwbp) but since its a twohander its slow for conc/zerk & ww ends up being 3x faster then them.Check out cold's ik guide.
