Consider it reported. Beware BuiltTOKill, these forums are a bit more intellectual than the bnet forums. (no offense to those that use both) We don't support the use of such things. Take a look over the rules or pm a moderator if you have questions about what is appropriate.BongoFury said:It sure has:

And as soon as someone reports this to ZF you'll most likely be banned.
It may not be against Blizzard's rules, but it is not allowed here.Majestik1474 said:the maker of the mod has contacted blizzard, telling them of the launching of the private server, as well as saying that if they want him to shut it down he would do so immediately...blizzard has not requested that he do this. If blizzard still had a problem with it, they would have responded. Also, the individual is not stealing money from blizzard, if anything he is giving people another reason to play the game while saving blizzard the effort of making the changes themselves. Not to mention it is on blizzard's forums, so if they had a problem with it they would have issued some sort of warning.
I'm not really here to argue the fineprint, just stating that blizzard has been notified by the mod maker himself, and that they have not taken any action whatsoever indicating discontent with what the mod maker has done.
ive seen blizzard shut down a number of private servers , not to mention some not so nice letters to forum sites that advertise themMajestik1474 said:the maker of the mod has contacted blizzard, telling them of the launching of the private server, as well as saying that if they want him to shut it down he would do so immediately...blizzard has not requested that he do this. "3. Thou Shalt Not Advertise. We do not intend to serve as a linking service or a search engine to other sites.no where in your rules and regulations does it say anything about this circumstance.
For example, it's still considered rape if the rape victim did not say no. The absence of no doesn't mean yes! However, the absence of one's legs make it hard for one to walk. To answer the question brewing in everyones mind, yes, it's hard for even mimes and werewolves to walk without legs, but only if they have been cursed by the funny hat brigade. Proven fact. Just watch CSI: Crappy Show.. Iduno! They know everything.ZappaFan said:Permission for something like that has to be given explicitly by Blizzard, not by their silence.
ZappaFan said:Advertising alternate realms is definitely against the rules here. And I can tell you for that just because Blizz hasn't gotten around to shutting this one down doesn't mean they are giving permission. Permission for something like that has to be given explicitly by Blizzard, not by their silence.
