Time to collect stuff after killing diablo?

On battlenet, after I kill diablo in act 4 will I only have a short time to pick up the stuff and choóse what to keep and what to throw away (like in the offline game), or can I take the time I want?

If you are playing classic, the countdown will still happen on bnet after you kill Diablo, not just in single player. If your playing the expansion (LOD), the countdown won't happen on either single player, or bnet.

not that you have any time to do it because of the super lag which accompanies killing him :p

On classic, there is a time limit after diablo is killed, but as long as the game has been played in for more than five minutes (which is likely for how long it takes to kill d) you may re-enter the game after the counter kicks you out. I had to do this a few times back when I played classic if diablo dropped lots of good stuff and I had no extra room for it all; you just have to run all the way back to him.
