No daily thread? Hmm.

Played Sacred some more, getting to Act 3. The FPS drop in Braverock Castle (the PC I'm using can barely run the game so having it caching a big city is bad) is causing havoc... I can sometimes average 0 FPS, yay! *longs to get back to his more powerful computer*

Also played D2. In my continuing battle against the Ancients, tried once again and lost. I did kill one of them this time though, so there is some progress. Mariah's just pindling away for now, in the hopes of seeing a green or gold item drop. Even switching out her +life armour for a +MF armour hasn't done much, although you have to remember these 'runs' take 5-10 minutes each... she's not exactly built for this.

Maybe I should go waste the Flayer Jungle... again.

edit: Forgot the best part! I found out today that even if I fail this year at Uni I'll still get a degree... since it's impossible for me to pass this year, that's great news. Hurrah! *proceeds to purchase rounds at the EMB* :buddies:

Got tired of seeing the same normal uniques and set items drop for me over and over again, so i'm trying to push my fishy past NM meph and thru NM completely. Right now my run is limited to NM Andy -> NM Meph. Thinking about making it Andy -> Meph -> Baal. Is NM Pindleskin worth running?

Had my first final of the batch yesterday. It was an oral exam for my chinese class, which was an encouraging breeze. Tomorrow's the written, which shall be much, much harder. 2 more in the next couple weeks, and i'm done with college! Well, except for the whole grad school thing, but that doesn't count, right?

NM Pindle is worth running if you can do him quickly, as long as you don't expect great things. He can drop pretty well and is a lot quicker to reach than Meph - plus he gives quite good experience.

The reasoning behind my getting a degree is simple - I'm on a 4-year degree course (doing an MEng), but if I fail the final year I get a different degree (BSc) equivalent to the result of the past 3 years... basically ignoring my final year. Which is good since I've had huge problems this year outside of Uni, causing my marks to, well, suck.

I have levelled my Fire zon to level 24, and am impressed with Immolation Arrow so far. I can't wait to get her into the higher levels and see how she goes. So far she has been a lot of fun to play. I also just did a countess run with my FrostMaiden for a Lum, Tal and El. Not too bad.

did some countess runs and came up with zip/nada/notathing/0 so i ended up playing my barb, started whacking around in the canyon of the magi and nearly zapped to death by death beetles :grrr:

So overall, not a bad day :lol:

I got about an hour in playing my passive barb. I finally made it into Act 2 normal, yeah baby! With a defensive merc I now run in the 500 range for the barbs defence. That makes the enemies chance to hit about 20% and 51% chance to block with my shield I am able to tank fairly well only about 10% of the swings even hit me. I haven't died yet but I have come close, on my way down to andy I walked into a room with about 50 fallen and 5 skelly archers on the other side. My fire arrow merc died in an instant and I just made it out with a full plated belt worth of potions and 6% life leech.

I completed the first quest in act 2 and found the waypoints into the dry hills.
Those dang beetles are annoying when playing a melee char especially such a weakling as the passive only barb. I need to get more resist into my build I guess that will have to wait until I get nat resist. Until then clvl 22 passive will just keep trudging along at players 8 through act 2 normal.

Vixen finished off Act 3 NM, and as far as the RoF in Act 4. She finally managed to shop for a volcanic staff that is better than her old Leaf staff, by virtue of having a whole +1 to Fire Mastery. Big whoop

More exciting was finding a Pul rune in the sewers, the highest rune that any of my characters have seen

By way of variety, I also started off a necromancer who will use only ethereal items and an iron golem (since I like the look of the iron golem made from an ethereal item).

Last night I tired of the constant anxiety playing through Hell with my Zealot--he's a ton of fun, but makes me nervous around all the cursed, FE, LE bosses out there.

So, I dragged out my Hammerdin and ran Mephisto 4 or 5 times. My best find was my first Shako!! I also grabbed almost the entire Sigon's set

I may continue MFing for a while, just for a break...

Nice going kaysaar First year at college can be real tough, depending on how well your highschool prepared you and other factors. I definitely tanked my first year (first F ever, w00t!); not my highschool's fault tho, as i watched Office Space and decided to enjoy my days playing Deus Ex in lieu of going to class. The lesson here? Don't watch Office Space!

Seems like there are a lot of new names I haven't seen before, but you need someone to replace the stock. As for me I've been stressing over school and playing Morrowind but I spend more time dling plugins that actually playing almost :uhhuh: .

I'm sure the friday thread is almost up, but heh. Got my meterorb sorc to hell. I did all of NM on p8 except for the ancients. I haven't died once yet. Although those darn gloams have given me more than one close call.

I'm taking interest in CRG's players 8 hell idea and have decided to do the first two act at p8. At least untill I get killed a bunch.

I failed my fifth skydive jump. The instructor and I ended up doing two barrell rolls on exit. It was fun, but not on the list of things to do. I'm not too upset, it was still a kick in the pants. Now, I just gotta work more overtime to finish.
