Throwzon Questions.

I found a throwzon guide online, suggested gear:

Helm: Guillaume's Face or COA
Armor: Duress or Enigma
Shield: Phoenix, Stormshield or Sanctuary
Gloves: Drac's or Steelrend
Boots: Gore Riders
Belt: Nosferatu's Coil or Verdungo's
Ammy: Highlord's or Mara's
Rings: Ravenfrost, BK
Weapon: Warshrike
Switch Weapon: Lancerator (for amp for phys. immunes), Demon Limb (for enchant)

My questions:

Would a Fort be good to use or is there a better armor/runeword that I should use?

The guide says to use warshrike because it isn't hard to get 100% pierce, but would a gimmershred be better?

Will I need max. block? (I'd use a SS. I don't have a phoenix and I'm not sure if I need max. block because I'll mainly be behind my valk/merc throwing. If not I was thinking of using a moser's with p diamonds for the resists)

The problem with gimmers is it does not replenish which means you will go back to town for repair often. Why not stick with titans for old times sake? :grin:

Go Fort definitely for the 300ED. Nuff said.

IMO, you don't need max block. You will have a very, very sturdy valk and reliable merc not to mention decoy to hide behind from while you steadily throw from afar.

You want Warshrike as your weapon... There is a simple reason for this. Amazons have different frames of blocking for Swinging and Stabbing weapons. They block very very slowly when using Swinging weapons and so throwing axes, which are a swinging weapon on melee combat, hurt your blocking rates. Throwing Knives, which are stabbing, allow you to maintain a fast block. Gimmers are nice, but when you have access to a constant source of Amp damage, the value of the elemental damage goes down...

Get block. Blocking projectiles is important too. Plus, dex boosts your damage.

You need Fort's ED. It beats Duress and Enigma hands down in this regard.

I'm trying different builds I've never played before and this is a passive build. I really enjoyed the last passive build (daggerzon) I played so I'm making another.
