    Throw Barb Skills

    I read a few guides on Throwing barbs and I was wondering what I should focus more on.. Frenzy or double swing for synergy with double throw? Frenzy might be useful for hand to hand but the syngergy on double swing is pretty big.

    Double swing hands down.

    You would only want to work with frenzy if you wanted to be a throw/melee hybrid.

    And working weapons on that can be difficult. Most likely you would have to give up your weapon switch.

    And endgame, double swing would be a bit more effective if you really needed to break down and go melee, due to its absence of mana past lvl 9, and since it will be alot easier to gain a good attack speed with it over frenzy.

    My thrower used;
    ~20mastery
    ~20doubleswing
    ~10+doublethrow {worked on it last, only needs 1 pt in pvm, but if you duel alot of high deff characters more might help}
    ~20 bo
    ~10ish in shout {was going to finish after doublethrow}

    Again mine was set up to duel, idk what your looking for.

    The reason you can definately get away with only 1 point in DT is that adding points does not add damage, it only adds ar. Double Swing adds the damage to your attack so as long as you max your mastery and can achieve a decent amount of AR there is no reason to max Double Throw.

    Whoa, frenzy also effects damage done when you're not using frenzy? This gives me a idea or two...

    It affects your run speed attack speed for other attacks for 6 seconds, not their damage.

    Dang, other other wise double throw would be awesome :)

    But the ias should still be worth a point or two in to frenzy.

    imo yes. also might offer the possibility to use slower high dmg weaps on switch.

    with only 1 point in double throw needed... do you guys think a frenzy/throw hybrid is viable? you could use itd weapons (fleshrippers?!) for frenzy and save points in mastery.

    Hey guys, if I could get some opinions here (couldn't get them on the throws guide thread)

    I have some rare war darts:
    407%ed
    ~+160% damage to Undead
    ~+160 AR to Undead
    ~+240 AR
    Replenish Quality

    Are these worth upping to elite versions? (w/sc/l btw)

    The avg damage is pretty high when I calculated it, but no elemental damage. I'm planning on using gimmershred for one hand, so on the other it'll either be these upped or eth demon arch. I'm thinking the demon arch would do more because of the ele damage. What do you think?

    Thanks.

    You shouldn't need to have elemtental damage unless its against PIs since your physical damage is boosted by dex, %ED from double swing and mastery.

    I'll suggest switching to lacerators+the war darts for physical damage, then gimmershred+demon arch for elemental damage against PIs.

    Test how slow the war darts are though with no ias on them.
