Thorn and life leech questions

Are both nerfed by the same pvp %?

I know that there is a 1/10 pvp for thorn, so it is about 100% return dmg in pvp. But I don't think this number is right. In game play, it's about 1/1000 or 1% return dmg in pvp.

One side note, I saw a few posts in this forum complaining about the nerfing of LL. In my opinion, if you don't nerf lleech, then you put thorn back to 1/10. And iron maiden will screw up the balance even more.

It may very well be 1/10, but it might look alot less because of various reductions.
I don't know these things for sure, it's just what I've heard people say here so I could be wrong with the following.

When a player hits you while you have thorns active his damage is reduced by the 1/10 penalty aswell as any dr% you might have, after that the reflected damage would be reduced even further by the other players own dr% which makes the final damage returned very low.
The damage you take yourself should still be the usual 1/6 though.

Level 40+ thorn returns roughly 2000% damage PvM. After 1/10 PvP and 50%dr, it should return 100%. But we all know this is not the case.

So does anyone know the pvp % of thorn and life leech?

I don't get what you are trying to say here. PvP penalty for damage dealing, except thorn and iron maiden, is 1/6. PvP penalty for thorn is listed 1/10. Are you trying to say that thorn return damage is reduced another 1/6 after the 1/10?

I was told it was a bit messy :)

I mean that the 1/10 penalty is for the damage that is reflected while the 1/6 is for the damage your character takes when the opponent actually hits you with or without thorns, but you already knew that so this was just to clear up the mess.

Anyway, just hope for someone more competent in this area to answer as I don't know for sure, I'm just going by what I've been told myself.
