this a viable pvm build?

i wanna max hurricane, tornado, twister, and the grizzly bear(for tanking along with points in hp synergy)

im gonna use this for pvm will this be a viable druid build??
or would it be easier for me to use fire skills??

i wanna go for these wind skills b/c i know there will be lots of fire immunes in hell, and these wind skills are mostly nonelemental, with a little cold in the hurricane

This is a very viable Druid build... it even has a name.. a Wind Druid. Although the skill outline you have stated needs a bit of tweaking...I wouldn't max grizzly... this can be done and the grizzly is a nice minion, but I feel that you would do better to max Cyclone armour for added damage to Tornado and Hurrican duration. Still 1 point in Grizzly is awesome because even with such a small investment he is an excellent tank, just don't expect him to kill anything for you. Also Cyclone armour absorbs elemental damage, which is VERY nice in Hell. I personally think that a Wind druid is easier to play than a fire druid, but fire druids can do a lot of damage and are perfectly viable. Actually both fire and wind druids deal both physical & cold damage which is very nice... not that many cold+physical immunes around. Anyway check this guide for further pointers. Good luck

yeah.. i forgot to include maxing cyclone

so leave grizzly at base and get a few hp boost synergies for him, and get the oak sage to +10-20 ish ??

max hurricane, tornado, twister, and cyclone, and get some in oaksage base grizzly with a couple points to +hp synergy for grizzly

that sound pretty good?

That sounds about right...Although I wouldn't put more than 1 point in Dire wolves (the Grizzly hp synergy), because with a couple of +skills the grizzly will have nice life and it doesn't cost a whole lot to recast him, less grizzly more Oak Sage at least in my opinion... your choice though.

Max all your wind skills, they are all synergies to each other (almost), then 1 point grizzly, and rest in Oak Sage... Although the Oak Sage dies a lot, it's still worth it.. double life, why yes thank you, that sounds pretty sweet:)

agree, no extra points in wolves, just max out oak sage.
If you try to gather up +skills from equip, your grizzly will easily reach a couple of thousand hp's, which means he wont die that fast.

my favorite thing with this build though, is to get a merc with delirium helm. that chance to cast confuse really makes life wonderful :D
they hit each other, you hit them. tralala :D

The guide is interesting but not exactly great. The equipment sections is lacking and does not take any cast breaks into consideration. Much better helms are available same boots also no mentions are made of an ammy. There are better guides stickied on top of druid forum.

Sorry.. didn't think of that, I just thought that Fenris' Wind druid guide was for PvP only.. haven't read the guide but the author seems very respected in the SPF so I thought he'd done a good job. My bad :(

It's not a bad guide but needs more refining to make it really good imo. like i said he makes no mention of an ammy also cast rates which are still somewhat important in pvm, a wind druid should try and get at least the 99% fcr and the author should give more options on equipment afterall it is pvm and you can try different things.

As for fast cast rate... I don't feel it's that important , although I'm only in act 2 hell so might be so later on:( Still there are many other things to focus on first. This is also a single player only guide... that might explain the somewhat lacking gear department... No new runewords, annihilus, not to mention the general lack of any high runewords in general:(.
