The results of Israeli assassinations

http://www.islam-online.net/English/News/2004-04/19/article03.shtml

This article provides an interesting background and insight into the Palestinian side on this ongoing assassination business, apparently now arousing suspicion against fellow Palestinians, but I want to focus mainly on one thing, the last paragraph.

"Following the assassination of Rantissi, Hamas appointed a successor to its leader in Gaza but kept his name under wraps for fear he might be targeted by Israel."

So now they're going to stay underground bin Laden style, only unlike bin Laden, Israel won't have a name or a description. Could this shift in management style be indicative of an upcoming shift in attack methodology on the part of Hamas? Considering all the public posturing this organization does this is actually a surprisingly adaptive move, leading me to believe an even larger strategy shift may well be in the works. At the very least Israel's going to have to start working a lot harder to keep scoring these kills.
