    The Political Compass Test!

    Apologies if this has been posted before, but I found this rather interesting, and a bit better than some of the other political "gauges" out there.

    Political Compass

    Personally I ended up at X: -4.12 and Y: -2.77. Yep, I'm a flaming liberal. I'm in the Dalai Lama's neck of the woods. :)

    I was surprised that I came in that far to the left on the X axis - I believe in the health of the social organism as a whole but not in subsidising sloth, if at all posible. :) History has shown that collectivism ain't that great.

    My social libertarianism score comes as no surprise. :D

    Hmm, I've taken this test several times and it seems I'm always in a different spot. Today I'm at
    Economic Left/Right: 6.25
    Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.05

    That's slightly more on the socially liberal side than I had thought. That's right where I thought I'd be economically though. Seems to me I'm Republican-ish, with libertarian tendencies. I wonder why there's no gun control questions? That usually seems like a big issue.

    So I'm a Communistic Anarchist.... Whoda thunk it?

    I always thought I fared a little more toward the right than that, but have known for several years now that I lean toward the left on many issues. According to this test anyhow, I'm much more toward the left. Perhaps it's because the questions were much more basic and gave for clear stances. I dunno. Either way... that's me above.

    EDIT: OMG, I just looked at the Presidential primary information and I'm in the same spot as Al Sharpton. I will now go gouge my eyes out.
