I think the pit is kind of easy. I play a barb though. IMHO I dont think that any other class is as good in such close combat.

druids & paladins can do quite well

I have a hcl bowazon using strafe with about 250 mf that owns the pit while wearing what most people would consider mediocre gear. I have equipped all my other chars thanks to her. Worst part is run from wp.

My pitting character is just a pure Lightning Sorc.
All MF gear (Shako & griffons) interchangable depending on my mood.
6 Lt charms, Tome of each, Gheeds and 8 spaces for Tyreals :uhhuh:
6-9k Chain lightning dmg.. Tele boom.

May have seen me about.

delirium rocks... but it is still no protection from the only place in the game I can guarantee that I will die.... Oblivion Knights casting IM on my sorry but in the Chaos Sanct.

I have never died on a pit run, but have never NOT died on a Diablo run.

My Delirium Dexazon smokes IM casting dorks, NO SWEAT, its my "godly" Zealot pally that runs from IM (but nothing else)
