Alright, some background info about meh
I went to wow after getting banned (3 times lawlz) when 1.11 came out, played a troll hunter up to 70, but something was missing. Sure, wow is great and all, but it lacks what my gaming experience in diablo gave me. I thought about it, for at least a minute, and realized what was so great about diablo. The pvp is simply amazing. Why? You true pvpers out there know the reasons.
1) Diablo pvp is fast. Ever have a non-diablo friend watch you play? "Holy crap man! What's going on? I'm gonna get seizures!" is what my friends say when they watch me tele around. Wow pvp is a bit more complicated than tele and shoot, but it's so much slower. Realizing that 1/25 of a second faster reflexes would have saved you keeps you on your toes. Or fingers. Whatever.
2) There are a bajillion different builds. I mean, there are...10 different pally builds that can be good for pvping? 6 different sorc builds? 2 zon builds (ha?)? I mean, I had my hammerdin one shotted by a fire-claws druid the other day. In wow, every class plays the same, regardless of build; its very predicatable.
3) The trash talking/bm playing. Face it, that is the single most fun thing to do in diablo pvp. Just pubs, obviously. But barely beating someone who is worse than you, trash talking to them, and nking them is the essence of diablo pvp. Especially if they really get ticked at you. In wow, you kill an alliance, but you can't feel them getting pissed at you. You know there's someone on the other end saying, "OMG WTF HAX!1!!", but you really can't feel it like in diablo.
So yes, the pvp is what keeps me going, not the mfing great items, not the fun "quests", not the making of new characters, the pvp. (rant off)
