The Omnipresent Music Thread

I figured it's about that time again to see what kind of music everyone is listening to currently or what they listen to whilst playing Diablo II.

So let's get some songs going, maybe even lyrics if you wish. :D

Currently Listening To: Killswitch Engage -- Numbered Days
Song Next In Line: Hatebreed -- This Is Now

While playing D2 I usually pop in the MTV Headbanger's Ball CD, Disc 2 of course, or Chimaira's Impossibility of Reason CD. Awesome stuff there.

So... everyone else! Wheee!

Knowing that a new Nine Inch Nails' album was coming out this year. I rushed to the store and bought The Downward Spiral and The Fragile. I had the live album And All That Could Have Been for some time now. So yeah NIN all the way for the past week or so. I am love the first cd of the Fragile.

Otherwise it's been month of 'not much' Perfect circle heard in my head because of the Mars Volta. And of course there's always Tool. :worship:

Its been a lot of Phish here lately, especially the Hampton Comes Alive SIX :yep: disc, two show live set. It is truely amazing. If its not that, I've been listening to Led Zeppelin lately along with the occasinal dabling in Bela Fleck, specifically "Stomping Grounds," all rolled up with the Yonder Mountain String Band.

Wave if you know who Phish and Bela Fleck, the YMSB are!

Yup, I know Phish and Bela Fleck, can't say that I'm a big fan but I had a lot of friends in college who loved them... I can say they are the reason I know what a "Goo Ball" is

Foo Fighters -- Everlong
Hello, I've waited here for you, everlong
Tonight, I throw myself into and out of the red,
Out of her head she sang

Come down and waste away with me, down with me
Slow how, you wanted it to be,
I'm over my head, out of her head she sang

And I wonder when I sing along with you
If everything could ever feel this real forever
If anything could ever be this good again
The only thing I'll ever ask of you
You've got to promise not to stop when I say when
She sang

Breathe out, so I can breathe you in, hold you in
And now, I know you've always been out of your head,
Out of my head I sang

And I wonder when I sing along with you
If everything could ever feel this real forever
If anything could ever be this good again
The only thing I'll ever ask of you
You've got to promise not to stop when I say when
She sang

And I wonder if everything could ever feel this real forever
If anything could ever be this good again
The only thing I'll ever ask of you
You've got to promise not to stop when I say when

Good song... good song...

Foo Fighters is a band I forgot to add in that I listen to a lot while playing D2.

 I've been able to see Béla a couple of times in the last couple of years...once with the Flecktones, and once with an upright bassist, with whom he played some classical and more bluegrass stuff. He's quite amazing.

Pick up the Live Art album. Its absolutely amazing. And I went and saw the YMSB here in Minnesota a while ago, and they absolutely were godly.

Jeff Buckley, Godspeed You Black Emperor!, Hayden, and Elliot Smith. By no means D2 music, but amazing nonetheless.

I usually stick to old 80s rock/metal. Guns N' Roses, early Metallica, Warrent, Bob Seger, the usual. Every once in awhile, I'll throw some very limited rap in the mix (mostly old stuff)

The Feelers, Sublime and random artists that have one hit wonders or songs I like. Pink Floyd is pretty sweet too, the only band my old man could convince me to listen to.

[/puts on flame resistant suit] Eminem aswell..... Don't judge me ;)

I've been listening to a lot of Sevendust: Seasons. It's an excellent CD, one of the best I own. Also been listening to some flamenco, some old school blues (Willie Dixon) and some Trapt :bonk:
