Well here goes nothing.
as i've recently found Tal's Guardianship but i still miss the amulet, i've decided to go hunting: Hell Andy, beware of Skinned the fishymancer!
I've checked her drops and she can drop runes up to Lo (though the chances are very very slim), which is not bad at all and she can also drop some of the exceptional and elite uniques i still dont own.
So here starts Skinned's quest for the never-saw-it-drop green amulet.
I'll post my progress in this thread.

You might also want to consider pindle. The odds on P1 400MF hell are:
1 : 11391 Andariel ~ 1st kill - [H]
1 : 75072 Pindleskin - [H]
So if you can run pindle more 7 times as fast as andy, then in the long run he'll give you better odds, and can drop alot more goodies than andy can. A fishy can run pindle reletively quick. Just have to get your skeles all up and ready before the corpses in his garden wake up, then i find to guide your skeles into the right action, run past pindle, so down the stairs, tehn straight back up. that way they will all focus on killing pindles mob, not the other corpses that will wonder through to meet you, and if your in trouble, you have the stairs right behind you. This way i can do pindle pn P1 in less than 50 seconds from loading to saving with my lvl 89 fishy.

and according to my math, pindle's chances (1:37536) are 9.488 smaller than Andy's chances (3956) (im not considering first kills)
i know pindle goes down really fast (im using a Naj's staff) and i can kill him quite fast without skellies...CE is the king!, but Andy doesnt take 9 times longer to kill.

maybe ill do dual runs: Andy and Pindle

 

Well I found two in about month of running Hell Andy. Never found what I was looking for though, a SoJ. I guess if you need something really bad you never get it.

 

Well in your example youve shown is not andy first kill, which because of the bug you always get, not a normal drop.
And wheres what im seeing.

If you need something really bad, get inventive.

I have 3 SoJs now. I made a classic character almost specifically to get SoJs. Once you have the first two unique rings you are guaranteed to get a SoJ the next time a unique ring drops. Sure, its a lot of work but you can gamble uniques as well. I gambled rings the whole time and then when I got my first SoJ I muled that off and actually had my second SoJ drop. Then ironically enough shortly after that I was playing beta 1.10 so that I could get a +2 skill BK ring and I have a gold ring drop. Its a SoJ hah... I did manage to get my BK ring to (sheer luck I suppose, killed Mephisto over and over and over).

Tals Adjudication ... never had it drop for me. Until I made a 1.07 character. With enough MF you can get unique monsters on hell (sounds easier than it is)to drop set items almost all the time. It still took me a while but I got one, now two I believe, that way.

I don't trade or take giveaways, only stuff I find so... I know how I got my stuff was cheap, but I got them

 

oh, so there's a bug...
even so...on first kill andy has (according to the atma version i have, it seems that mine and yours give us different results) 1:1899 chances to drop it

 

actually i think NM andy might be the best place to run
easier than Hell andy
plus you get a better chance at a soj

 

i wouldnt ruin my perfect hell meph map not for 10 tal's ammies

 

Why are the odds different? I don't get it...

 

i did dual runs on andy and meph, after a while my head got dizzy and quickly disliked it as a non-effective way to do MF, but thats just maybe i'm getting too old to do dual runs... :lol: anyway, u can try that on andy and pindle and tell us the progression.

run the same meph map for a week and you'll soon want to change it
good hell meph maps are reasonably easy to come by

 

i've been doing eldritch-meph-pindle runs for the last 3 weeks i guess
not bored yet
especially when i see green sacreds or laquered drop

i was just happy for my 3 weeks mf runs, netting me 2 IK armors and one Tal's

 

I've had 4 of them drop. Got 2 during questing in A2NM and one just other day from hell Meph...can't remember where the 4th was from. Doesn't that prove that random luck outdoes those drop calcs(as correct as they are).
I got both my Tal Armours during questing as well.

Tell this to someone (like me) who had never a good map as you guys.

I heard you should be able to get a good map with some reroll, tell you what, once I wanted to find an map as everyone else does in few reroll. Guess what, 2 hours of time waste, countless map change, it only got worse. Meph just hates me. I love baal/WSK runs.
