Ok i'm wondering if its just me getting decently lucky or if this is a decent area to MF in...I have around 150 MF right now and im questing to get to NM Meph and I went to get the waypoint in Halls of the Dead and I have noticed everytime I go there I get uniques and set items...This time I got a Helm and a ring from there...does anyone have any stat's on this said area as it pertains to MFing?

There's nothing special about it, you would have the same odds of getting sets and uniques in any other area.

That's a waste of time. I suggest to proceed to Mephisto and reroll maps until you have one with Durance 3 around the corner, preferably one with a short way to Andarial as well. You will find unique and set items much more often then.
I'm going to the Halls of Dead exactly once per character, in normal mode. Then I have the cube and I'm done with it. I don't remember having found any particular items which probably means that I haven't ever found anything special there.
