The Gloat Moat, a gathering of necromantic achievement
As a diablo 2 player, which I'm sure many of you are, there comes a time where a certain in-game accomplishment brings more than just some pride into your heart. A natural side-effect of pride is the desire to speak about it, but the problem is that there really isn't any place where one can discuss this openly in the forums. There are the Off topic threads, but matters like this aren't off topic at all. In other threads discussing it is jeering from the topic, who cares about your perfect death's web or your streak of PKing in a thread concerning the absorbancy of bone armor?
Here, below the dank bridge near the bog next to the graveyard, a small fire burns, and the necromancers gather 'round to discuss occurances of a life so detached from the real world, one that you need a cd-rom drive and 64 megs or RAM to achieve. Here they gather and bring with them stories and stashes full of ub3r 1337s. Here, my friends, is the gloat moat.
