The General's Tan Do Li Ga I used to think this baby was next to useless. 4- (57-60) 1H Dmg 30 Durability 35 Str Required 41 Dex Required Item Level: 28 Clvl Req: 21 Adds 1-20 Damage Slows Target by 50% +25 Defense 5% Mana stolen per hit +50-60% Enhanced Damage 20% Increased Attack Speed Then by freak accident I muled it to my MA assassin and at Act 1 Hell, she still has it on switch. It is a boss-killer just like the humble Woestave and well known Kelpie snare. Hit Duriel with it and he sits there, well he still does a little damage. One whack and Baal doesn't move. All I do is hit em once or twice, release a PS chaos bolt for the freeze slow down and switch to my dual bartucs and TS/Dtail or PS/meteor which ever suits me, or both. I haven't tried this with Woestave or Kelpie on the merc, but I assume slow is maxed around 75% (someone can confirm this) so why bother. Load the merc up with CB and bye-bye Baal, Meph too as you can tank him for the Merc although this hurts, just keeping casting Shadow Master as Meph can't resist it. I never thought this character could be a viable MF vehicle but this may just change my thinking. Btw, you will need a boat-load of AR to hit Hell Baal with a non-claw weapon, but all you need is a couple hits. Hope this helps some people. Most probably use other tried and true ways.
