Okay, so as I was reading through the SPF (Single Player Forum), I noticed a thread and checked it out. Little did I know I was going to be taken on the ride of my life through the life of DurfBarian, the one who pretty much takes the blame for everything.

We try something like this every once in awhile, but it usually dies out after a few days. I'm quite impressed that they have 17 pages going over almost a month now. :worship:

I can't believe I've never looked in that thread. This is all new to me. I blame Huorn.

 

A lot of it is actually quite hilarious, although all the Durf blaming is seriously mind boggling.

What, an excuse to get into stupid arguments involving idiotically intricate statistics?

It's clear that Durf had a better second season than PLF when you consider his blame-to-silly-link ratio's tendency to go up in the second thread of the forum, at least on days when Freet brought out his rusty chain and padlock more times than the season average.

 

Mr. Durf, I must say that you are one of the very few people I fail to understand sometimes. Now if you don't mind, I'm going to see where your adventures take you next.

My bible. Finally I have found it!

 

We should start a religion and call it "Durfism". We could blame everything on our God, Durf, and then sacrifice baby seals to Him. We just need the 10 Durfmandments, and to start a Durfhad War with something. Inanimate or otherwise.

 

the first durfmandment:

1) Thou shalt blame everything on thy god durf

 

2) Thou shalt not steal without blaming it on Durf, first.

 

Thou shalt blame no other gods other than Durf.

 

A quick note to all those reading: it's very long, so allow some time when you plan on reading it. Some stuff might need to be reread... it's very strange :uhhuh:

 

4) Thou shalt not take the name of Durf thy God in vain; for Durf will not hold him guiltless that taketh His name in vain.

 

5) Thou shalt honor thy mother and thy father and when thou shalt do something bad thou shalt blame thy reason thou took thee action thou did on thy god durf

 

6) Remember thy SAVAGE day, whereupon the mighty Durf is thy day to blame all blame on thy Durf. For six days shall ye toil, and upon the seventh, the day of Durf, you shall pray and give thanks to his Durfness.
