The Big P on the PSP!

Don't know if it's allowed or not, (not 100% sure) but what the hey.

Sony Says It Can't Stop Porn Producers From Releasing Films for PSP

Following reports that several Japanese producers of pornographic movies are planning to release them in the UMD format used with Sony's hot-selling PlayStation Portable device, Sony issued a statement Wednesday saying that there was no way that it could legally block distribution and sale of the disks. A public relations official at Sony Computer told the Asahi Shimbun: "It is utterly undesirable, but we cannot stop software makers from selling such videos."

So next time you see someone avidly watching/playing the PSP, be warned that it might not be a game/normal movie they are so entranced with.

This is not exactly welcoming news for the PSP but I doubt that someone is gonna watch porn on their psp on an airplane or on the train full of people.

You never know. Lot of people like to get it off doing things in public.

I really doubt anybody would do that walking down the street. Just avoid all PSP users in long raincoats from now on.

it's strange, since the release of the psp I have not actually seen any on the street except for the time when one of my classmates showed me his. Perhaps it's because I don't get out that much.

If you reverse-engineer it and sell it as a "not-UMD" (I'm kidding, this name wouldn't work), you're fine. Although the disc as made by Sony is proprietary, if a company can determine the standard behind it, they can release their own.
