    The Bat is Back!!

The legend is back, but it remains to be seen if the third installment can live up to it's title. Bat out of Hell is one of my all-time favourite albums, so imagine my surprise to find out that Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster is Loose is about to be released.

You can download the clip for the first single, It's All Coming Back to Me Now, from the official site. Don't be scared of this song either, yes it is *that* Celine Dion song, but it was written by Jim Steinman for Meat Loaf in the eighties and was intended to be on Bat Out of Hell II but was replaced by I Would Do Anything For Love* (Steinman's publisher sold it to Dion's manager...). I have just watched it (it's a big clip too, not some tiny thumbnail with crappy picture like I was expecting) and it is a great song with a cool ghost story plot to the clip.

    I can't wait for this.

*Was I the only 18 year old that thought this song meant something completely different, or did I just have a filthy mind?

Ah, Meat Loaf. The man with the longest song titles in the world, at least until Panic! At The Disco was formed...

I Would Do Anything For Love is an awesome song. Other than that I don't know much about Meatloaf.

I love Jim Steinman. Rock and Roll Dreams Come Through is probably one of my all time favorite songs.

Bat Out Of Hell is a must-have for any rock CD collection.
Bat Out Of Hell II was good, but not great.
Here's hoping Bat Out Of Hell III (which I will buy) is as good as the first.

His role did suck. Good thing he's a lousy actor, he nailed that role!

If you have a Yahoo account you can watch the video for The Monster's Loose. www.music.yahoo.com

It's a darker, more metal version of his old self. This ought to be a good cd

This is a person. This is not a cog in your machine...

    But, this is Project Mayhem.

No, no. This is a man -- this man has a name...

But, in Project Mayhem, we have no names.

No! Wrong! This man's name is Robert Paulson. Robert Paulson is dead. He's dead, because of you...

I understand... In death, a member of Project Mayhem has a name. His name, was Robert Paulson.

    True. An amazing album.

I like that one too. Although my favorite from II is "Objects in the Rear View Mirror....". I love the imagery in that song.

I saw your avatar on a different thread and went "Holy Crap!!! It's Meatloaf!!! He rocks!!!! It's twisted and wrong, but there is something absurdly sexy about him. Ski and I saw him in concert 3 years ago. Best flippin' concert EVER!!!! I'd see him again in a heartbeat!

OMG! It's a good thing I wasn't taking a drink of anything when I read that!! It would have been all over Ski's computer. I have to say, I don't think I have ever found Prince sexy. Just not my type I guess. I don't really have a "type", but I know what doesn't work for me.
