So, as the title says, what do you think of Blizzards new "anniversary patch"? A little late to start caring about fixing the remaining bugs but I suppose better late than never. If that is even being done. I haven't checked if they are still there or if any are fixed, anyone know? Particularly the nasty tomb vipers.

I'm really not sure about the new ravens, now being complete minions instead of a "spell" as before. Very hard to click on if you want to enchant them, but that would be cool, if they can survive long enough to use it. Demon limb will be expensive to rely on...

Ha! I managed to tag one! Now just need to find demon limb...just that tiny tiny detail...

And seriously, was this necessary? By all means, it's more logical and nice symmetry that both have the same mods and so but... I wonder if she can drop the cow kings set too?

Increased number of bolts in quivers is actually nice IMO. The new weapons are a little silly although since the sabre cats wield whips it makes sense that you can steal them. Will we see a ton of assassins named "Catwoman" now or something?

This weapon takes it rightful place among ghostly ghosts and maidens maiden spears at least :)

Stupidest of all must really be the INCREASED (???) damage of corpse explosion. 90-150%?! As if that wasn't OP enough already!

Share your thoughts and opinions, and if someone has taken the time to look more thoroghly at the changelog I'm all ears.

    From the changelog:

    "Increased high rune drop rate"

Is this really necessary? On another site they dived into the code and it turns out they made ber-zod 5x more common (average) and el-nef 1.1x less common to account for this.

    Some pally specific ones:

"Changed sanctuary aura to do what it was originally intended to"

Which means ED% to undead iirc. Should be interesting

    and

"Removed cooldown on Fist of the Heavens"

I can't think of anything more exciting than this

According to the OP it's already available for download. Is it manual? My game doesn't auto-update for some reason...

Maybe it's on arreat summit but I'm too lazy to check atm

Patches aren't on the Arreat Summit, Noob.

I am so glad they fixed inferno. Thank God! I was always jealous of Venom Lords and Flayera Shamans at their ability to toast things and our ability to toast things was stunted. Shame they didn't do anything to Arctic Blast, but oh well, Druids.

And synergies to Act 3 mercs is awesome! Glad they upped their viability to get them on par with Act 2 mercs.

I am only halfway through Act 1, but by tomorrow night you will see the inferno sorc Firethrower and her faithful merc, also fire! Of course I will retire the pair in Act 4 nm due to immunity, but it will be good fun while it lasts!

The necromancer changes to non-Iron Golems seem interesting. Hoping this now means they are viable. Would love to rock a Fire Golem again.

Loving the graphical changes as well! Druid tornado now lifts enemies in the air, and fissure makes them fall in the hole, and crawl back up when it doesn't kill them yet, awesome! Can't wait to find some of the other hidden changes :D.

Not when you live at GMT+13

Local April fools come out, you have a minor laugh and get on with your day. You go to sleep, you wake up and then find American jokes

Wouldn't GMT +13 put you behind the US on the day's timeline? I'm not up on particulars, clearly, but GMT representing noon on the world's clock and all that seems very confusing.

Regardless, I have neither respect nor interest in April Fools, but at least this one involved effort, was not hurtful and was clearly just having fun to have fun (even without any information on a date posted no sensible "patch discussion" thread would not have a link to the patch notes in the original post or the first reply.) Certainly not remotely close to being insult worthy, especially given the general egregiousness of almost every other "April fools joke" one ever runs in to.

No. If you are GMT +13 means you are 13 hours ahead of GMT. Just remember that everyone is ahead of the US, it is easier that way.

Okay after doing some quick poking around it makes marginally more sense, in so far as keeping all the US holdings on the same side of the date line seems desirable, but +13 and +14 just irritates my sensibilities. Twenty-six time zones to describe less than 24 hours of daytime...silly humans.
