it happens every year. i am usually paycheck to paycheck so i cant do the "automatic" thing. like this year, it'd have put me in the hole if it'd gone through today, but tomorrow it'll be fine. what sucks is for a few hours i cant say "check the link in my sig"

Huge storm passed thru the area this morning. My work was out of power at about 8:30 an stil has no power now, 11 hours later. Maybe no work tomorrow

That would just mean that I had to go to work for sure, as I fix those problems for a living!

Power is back here at work. Got a few lingering IT issues but most are fixed now. My house stayed surprisingly cool yesterday while having no power. We closed all the blinds and curtains to keep the sun out, then took an afternoon nap. THAT was nice. Don't get too many of those anymore.

Sounds like a nice day! We don't have to run our a/c unless it gets up around 90+ outside. Not that I wouldn't like to keep the a/c on all the time, but we're trying to save some money.

i try to always take a crap at work. that way i can say i get paid to take a ****. i'm going to try and cut down on the light coming into our big sliding glass doors (west facing) tonight after work by taping Reynold's wrap to them.
