Didn't see the Doctor show yet. I Tivo them then archive them on DVD.

I just saw a bunch of those commercials the last couple of days. I am waiting for the one where a guy farts in his roommates face or something. His roommate would say "damn, dude"

I like those commercials. I have no idea what they're for, but I still like them.

That's what they're for, really. The goal is not to make you want to buy something (that's too straightforward and fails in most cases), but to force you to sing that stupid commercial theme when you're taking bath, doing the gardening etc. Then you go to the shop and actually buy the thing without even noticing the commercial influence.
And then comes UFO and steals your pants & jacket just to ensure you'll vote against Hillary Clinton. Ok, I shut up and go to sleep, I need some...:cloud9:

I don't know what commercial that is, but it makes me feel sad just knowing it exists.


I tried watching Dr Who tonight, I guess I would enjoy it more if I could understand what the hell they were saying. And that blonde chick is so whiny, I want that Doc guy to smack her around for a while, that will teach her to second guess a frickin Time Lord's decisions...

The farting commercial doesn't exist. I was just saying that I was waiting for them to go there. They are funny though.

I am glad you watched the Doctor. Watch it a few more times and it gets easier to understand them. Give it a chance. What channel are you watching it on?

They show it on SciFi, I caught one of the episodes in what seemed like a mini-marathon. The setting was Pompeii. And boy, was that blonde chick annoying. "Why don't you save them, why don't you help them, wah wah wah wah..."

That's a new one, I believe. I am not sure who you're referring to, since I have not watched any of the new ones yet. The first three seasons were great though, IMO.

that's an old one by BBC standards. there was the blonde chick, then martha jones, now there's an annoying red head.

edit: actually iirc the new ones shown on scifi are actually only 1 or 2 episodes behind BBC, so you must have caught a repeat.... hmm no apparently i missed that one, it is the same chick... she's not blonde though.... i'm so confused now...

I don't know, she might have been a redhead, there was this yellowish glow over the whole thing. She was really obnoxious, though. However, there was a trait that Krem was looking for in her. :wink: :wink:

Right now, there are 39 people browsing the Zon forum, and I'm the only registered member. They outnumber me!
