    The Adventures of Rizzo

"And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death. And Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth" (Rev. 6:7-8).

And then the adventures of Rizzo the Summoner began. The memories of his late master Simon still a burning clear vision in his mind, he sat foot in the Rogue Camp where his adventure was about to unfold.

    Rizzo - Necromancer (naked)
    Summoner (skeleton master)
    Hardcore
    Level 1
Items allowed: none, no charms not anything, only on merc.

The first few levels of a naked necro are always boring. Killing monsters with your bare hands on Players 8 takes like forever. However as soon as you have a few skellies and especially a rogue, things start to roll. And so they did for Rizzo. He plunged onto the fields of valor with a sturdy heart and a will to proove his powers to the world. Proove that he does not need any help to defeat the greates threat this world has ever faced.

So far Rizzo is going strong in the Cathedral, and has just slain the Smith on P8 at level 15 (iirc). The Smith fell to a single skeleton and my rogue merc, and no skellies died in the battle. They are truly awesome allies. So far I've pumped every single stat point into vitality with the exception of 5 points, which I've spend in nrg. Skills are so far allocated mainly in Raise Skeleton, 4 points in Skeleton Mastery and a single point in Amplify Damage.

The journey of Rizzo is far from over. I will update in here when the journey continues. So far he's resting in the Rogue Camp, while I'm working... on a sunday :(

Haven't read about the other one, Simon so I just got two questions.

    1) Is this Hardcore?
    2) Is charms allowed?

    Good luck Rizzo!

    1: Yes this is Hardcore.
2: No, no items whatsoever are allowed.

Seems there's some kind of conspiracy to turn the SPF into a nudist forum...This is crazy, but good luck Rizzo.

I guess he has heard the "skelliemancers are so safe/powerful they can go naked" statement one time to many and now wants to know firsthand whether there is any truth to it.

Siege made one and got as far as act 3 Hell, where she accidentally died to a boss pack.

Andariel fell to the might of the skeleton army. Although I had to decrease the difficulty to /players 1 she killed quite a few skeletons before she perished. My trustful merc stayed away from the midst of battle and wasn't harmed. I got two rare light crossbows... yay! :p

Act 2 looks promising so far. Radament only killed a single skellie on P8 before he too succombed.

Perhaps I will play a little later tonight but so far:

    Rizzo the Nekkid Necro
    Level 20
    15 RS, 5 SM, 1 AD
    Act 2

Yeah I dig it too :p

Rizzo advanced yesterday. Going mainly /players 8 Rizzo fought his way through the dungeons of the Palace in act 2, a fast paced massacre leaving a trail of bloody bodies behind him. I didn't bother doing full clears, mainly because I find it incredible boring :D The Summoner was easy as cutting a pie, and was slain by a single skeleton in a matter of seconds.
I went directly for the true tomb, inserted the staff and waited while the beam of light erupted the wall. I can't really get over my SC tendencies, so I created a tp at the entrance hehe! Went in and my skellies started to flock duriel. I don't have Decrepify yet so he was cursed with Amplify Damage. Funny though, he didn't seem to take much damage... I realized I was still on /players 8... whoops! TP to town, lower to p1, went out and gathered some more minions, went back and he fell rather quickly. Sorry if someone thinks this might be cheesy, but I'm playing a naked necro here! Just trying to proove that the game can be completed wearing nothing at all...

Anyways Duriel fell like a sack of potates, maggots suddenly bursting from his bodies. Yuck! What a lack of personal hygiene! :)
Tyrael was happy and I went on the cruise to Noir Kurast City :D
Only managed to get the first part of the flail from the cavern before I quit the game and went to bed.

    STATZ!!1:

    lvl: 28

    str: 15
    dex: 25
    vit: 135
    nrg: 40

    Life: 345
    Mana: 109

    Dam: 1-2
    AR: 80
    Def: 6 (OMGZZORZ 1337 !!1one!)

    SKEELZ:

    Raise Skeleton: 20
    Skeleton Mastery: 6
    Amplify Damage: 3 - radius 3.3, 14 sec

    Skellies: dam 70-72, life 247, 8 skellies

    About the future:
What to do? I hate the extremely narrow radius of AD. I'd like it to be ALOT larger. However, I also know for certain that I must must must have Decrepify for Bosses and Dim Vision for Gloams later on. Otherwise I'm teh daed! What about other minions? I should prolly max Revive too no?
What about Summon Resist? Around level 6 sounds like all I need... I could use a bit of help deciding tho.

    Well, that's all for now!
    Rizzo's adventures will continue thursday...

Untill then, have a nice day!

Noted for further reference. Just a single point?
    Just checking the Arreat.. humm..

A single point would net me:
    Duration: 12 seconds
    Radius: 6 yards

Yes that should do the trick. Great! Thanks for the info Saruman :)

I think max revive will be over kill. you will lose half of your revive before they do anything. Maybe 10 is enough.

How many points you want to put in CG and GM?

Not really any methinks... I don't like golems.
Besides, I tried em with the late Simon, but there was no visible slow effect and the CG died like a one-winged fly on a highway.
How long time do revives stay alive? And how many points u think I should invest?

May I suggest maxing Dim Vision? Just cast it every time at the edge of your screen and EVERY monster you'll encounter will be blinded, that includes gloams etc. In order to work this fully you should keep AD small radius so you can keep everything on your screen blinded and work on a small group of monsters with AD/Decrep. :) Good luck

Seige: Thanks! I'd like to hear about Barry soon too..

Sint: Now that might be a good idea. This would help alot in Hell I could imagine. However it's 20 skill points I have to pull out of the equation. At level 20 Dim Vision has a radius at 15.3 yards. That should indeed cover most of the screen.
    Humm.. lemme see:

    RS: 20
    SM: 20
    SR: 6
    DV: 20
    AD: 5
    D: 1
    CE: ?

    Prereqs: 5

    But this is without revives...?!
