So yesterday, everyone is having fun for once in this pubby duel game when this sorc comes in and hostiles me.
I see a holy shock aura around her and mistaken it for thunder storm at first and run out at her expecting her to tp away.

Instead she swings her weapon at me and wants to melee:shocked:

One of those rare melee sorcs, anyway I executed her, even with my two-hander out.

This is where it gets wierd.

She says she can't believe she lost to a noob wolf and I was too offended to even get mad. I just said we should duel again if she wanted, maybe it was lag.

She agrees. 5 losses later she accuses my summons of being the problem so I unsummon them. 11 loses later, she accuses me of having 20k hp.

I inform her I have 9-10k usually but I don't have sage out so it's at 6k atm.

She then says she destroyed the #1 and #2 werewolves on useast and werewolves are all noob to her.

I replied that this probably makes me the #1 werewolf then since I just beat the sorc who beat #1 and #2 right?

I said you probably just been playing with noobs and the fact that I have 20 werewolves under my belt over a 3 year period means I probably know what I'm doing by now.

Anyway, apparently the #1 and #2 werewolves on USeast ladder are
Fury and Jar

As Stu is my witness(Stus_legend was in the game at the time), I cannot tell a lie. This really happened.

The point of this? How do you make a good melee sorc with the gear around today?

there is aguide in the sorc forum it is dual dream enchantress it is really interesting build but i never built one so idunno how good they are

I'm gonna go with 'they can't compete against a real melee'.

Aslong as you have on max resists, I don't mean stacked resists, just max resists, you should have enough time to destroy her.

I mean, I didn't even use my shield the first couple of times and I still beat her.

I've laid down many self-proclaimed #1 build with my BvC. A truely good player do not self-boast. Simple fact.

Any random pub can say "I've beat so and so who are #1 and #2 etc". However, 99/100 times these random kids would be obliterated by real #1 or #2 pvp players of a certain class.

saying this is see a sorc in bear form beat a barb using ES and beast or Doom i think.:shocked:

i really dont know if the barb sucked or he was messing arround but he had several attempts, got killed the first time and ran to town 3 more times .....

Also half of these ppl that clam these wins are the sort of ppl that ppl that hit others at low hp and thus claim this a win.

Nah kidding but did you find this sorc easy at all? I was really interested in a dream enchantress but if they suck.. I sure hope not.

The way I see it, if someone recognizes you for what you are and busts out the resistances, it's all over.

Like I said, I beat her with my two-hander even. At the end of the day, once you take off everything, it's just a crappy old phase blade and those don't do much damage at all.

Well, i will confess that my lvl 84 fury/rabie druid Xander_Cross got his tail beat by a dual dream enchantress weilding a passion. Course my resist are only 58 in hell (with my eth tomb) and i can barely manage 4k life (w/ oak) atm sooo... lol. She was on Ladder-East so i may have not been her only victim thus far. Too bad i cant remember her name, she was pretty cool lol. O WELL!

Ive heard though that you have like a 10 hr difference between US east time and your time so if you could pm me with a good time for me to catch you on, itd be most appreciated

yes this was a fun game hahaaaaa, i would have given that sorc some props for making a decent meleer, but then she started talking sh*t ....and she sucked......

guess ill have to make a melee sorc now.... and kill ur druid.... lol
