I have to say that the lack of nominations pretty much reflects the state of the forum in general. There are less active people and less stuff worth nominating. As time goes on SPF is becoming more about power gaming and less about interesting builds. [/oldfart]

Well, around 29 hours I believe left of nominations. Last day submissions are encouraged, especially for the catagories with low entrants!
If anyone else wants to help out with some judging, you can still PM myself of Bob. We do have an adequate number of judges, but a couple more would be welcome as well.

That is sadly descriptive of me and D2 as well. Normally, I'd have a few Guardians and tourney chars up, but this year, most of the tourneys never grabbed me. Part of it was that I have taken a much longer break from D2 than previous - I've been "on/off" for a long time, taking regular two or three month breaks, but always come back for a new char or tourney. Another part was that tourneys seemed a lot fewer than previous years, when we had a limit to the number of active tournaments.
Since power levelling/MF'ing isn't my style (I like the character build/creation aspect,) I haven't played D2 in a long time - Median XL Ultimative however is having a good run, and I plan on staying in it a little longer. But yeah, much less active than previous years. Even the bar has its quiet streaks.
Well, I don't know about you guys, but for me Forum/D2 time went down rapidly from the time I started work and then again after I got a daughter...I wouldn't have imagined such an impact, but I really only have time to play when my daughter is asleep.
I'd really like to nominate guardians/threads/forumites, but I'd have to dig (and read!) through hundreds of pages, because I almost didn't have any time to read threads at all last year...
but thanks for your effort of keeping this tradition up and running! I think it's one of the things that makes this place special and why I'm still around after 7 years...but I think, we need some new - dare I say: younger? - people to fill the places of those old crocks who get more and more absorbed in family/work life...

Still got just under 24 hours if you want to search some more. The nominations close 0000 Sunday morning - since there's a difference in local timezones, there's some leeway, but yeah, under 24hours remaining.
Sorry for the late post, but I am not really well at the moment due to real life stress, so never got around to this. In the next couple of days, I will send a PM to the judges, and will hope to have some results early next week. (That's the plan, anyway.) I will also try to post the final Nominations list within a couple of hours.
