The 1.10 multishot bowazons(of 1.09) are necros!

fact: (I think these nr. are correct, dont flame me if they arnt)

a amazon with a wf that has 350 dex does

35 * 2/3 *4,5(350% ed from dex) = 105
547 * 2/3 *4,5(350% ed from dex) = 1641

avg. dmg would be 873 pr multishot fired. And this is pysical dmg, meaning it has about half value to a teeths magical dmg.

on a side note, a ama with wf and strafe (lvl 30) and same dex would have a avg dmg of 1964.

fact:

max teeth
max Bone spear
max Bone spirit
max bonewall

-morrowalks

gives you a teeth dmg at 343 - 463 at teeth lvl 20 (avg 403)

at lvl 38 teeth should do 941 - 1196 dmg (avg 1069)

so what gear does this take?

-shako +2
-Boneshade +7
-homoculus +2
-engima +2
-Arachnid Mesh +1

and 4 skiller charms.


anyways thinking of doing a dentist for fun atm... the boneshade is what makes this build though as 7 out of 18 skills is about 40% of the +skills, so I´d have to get one of those.

anybody out there got a necro that look like this ? how does it do in hell mode? besically I just wanna know if its worth the time investment to make a necro like this for eg. mf runs in the pits.

It's basically the same build as a most PvP necro's...and it does good enough in pit runs(though a venomancer kills much quicker) It just might take you alittle more time to clear the pits with it though.

Facts why 1.10 teeth isn't as good as 1.09 MS:
Teeth can't pierce like MS can
A monster can be hit by exactly 1 tooth per volley unlike getting pelted by a whole bunch of MS arrows
Poison, heck any elemental damage at all, doesn't apply to your teeth.
Knockbck, slows target, open wounds, enhanced damage to demons, leech..... all have nothing to do with teeth.

Only one MS arrow can hit a monster and then the Next Delay timer is set and no others can affect it for 4 frames (I think that is the right delay period). So it's the same as for Teeth, only one of a large number of arrows passing through counts... but the others do help to get a hit if the Amazon has low AR or the monster has blocking, since it gives multiple chances until a hit is obtained from the "whole bunch".

Talking 1.09 here.... I was pretty certain a monster could be hit by multiple arrows in 1.09. Still there is very little comparison to 1.1 teeth to 1.09 MS. My 1.09 burito zon used exactly 3 skills; Valk, MS and Guided arrow (and of course prereq's and passives) and only GA was maxxed. For 1.1 teeth to approach the same damage potential (still doubtful IMO) you need 80+ skill points in synergies.
