Tgods or arach mesh? (hammerdin)

How many people feel that it's necessary to use tgods on their hammerdin when gloams and souls are around in hell baal runs? The 20str from tgods also helps me get 140str to use a -15req valor, but if i do use tgods instead of arach mesh i'll need to get a +2 pally FCR ammy to reach the breakpoint. Btw this character will be just used for hell baal runs and maybe a bit of pk, so no mfing & i'll have around 1500hp when i reach lvl 85.

Also would a +3 combat skills ammy be better than a +2 skills?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

i like tgod belt the lightning defense is good for both pvp and lvling baal runs, the 40 in stat point is a big :thumbsup: , i would use the arachnid mesh only if you need break point and for a hammerdin i think +2 all skills > +3 combatskills

lol.. Thanks for the responses guys, yea i thought tgods would be a better option, especially since the 20str actually comes to use since i need 140str for valor :thumbsup:

lol omg we finally agree on something, yeah for a hammerdin i would say use tgods, hammers are powerful enough to take anything down without the extra skill anyways

I think Tgods will be safer. I use on my bowazon & all my pallys. You're probably wearing at least 1 10% fcr ring. You could switch for a wisp projector which would take care of the lighting resist/absorb & then wear your arachnid & net a 10% higher fcr.

As far as the ammies go, the +3 combat will net 1 higher in hammers & Holy Shield. The +2 all skills will net 2 higher in redemption, vigor & concentration. The damage will be higher with the +3 combat when running around without concentration on (I like to run around with redemption when solo & switch to concentration for super uniques & boss's). The +3 combat will net only slightly higher damage when running concentration. I would use the +2 all skills as parties will appreciate the higher level concentration unless you are running with another pally with high concentration in which case I would use the +3 combat (higher defense with holy shield & higher base damage as your concentration will be unnecessary). Overall, without other mods, these ammies are close.

Obviously I am assuming that you are only using these skills.

If you are rich and can afford wisp protector ring by any mean - use wisp + arachnids but if you dont have any other form of lighting absorb .... I'd stick with t-gods
About FCR - I'd try keep by any mean at very least 48% FCR, 75% FCR of course ideal for Baal run/PvM but not crucial. For PvP 125% FCR a must unless you duel only in pubby
About armor - I'd still value upgraded skin of viper magi over everything but enigma
For Baal runs in 8 ppl game 1.5khp is good enouth imo but for PvP I'd aim for something closer to 3k. With only 1.5K you'll die in single hammer hit, single tornado hit, 2-3 bone spears, single hit of blizzard will kill you

Heres my prepared setup btw:

Shako
Hoz (p diamond)
Wizzy
-15req +2 Valor
Tgods
2 BK or 1 soj 1 BK
+2 pally 5+FCR ammy
15/15 sandstorms
Magefists

If I use valor and wizzy its basically the same as suicide and viper, except i gain 400 def (valor vs upped viper) and 42 vit (126hp) and 30FHR. But i do lose the +5 all stats on maras but i'll try to find a good ammy that will make up for this. As i said before the 20str from tgods dosent' go to waste this way since it helps me get 140str for valor

I am not gonna disagree with you. Tgods is just about my main belt on almost every pally I build, lol. and 2 all is better for damage when using concentration. I have tried both and I say the 2 all is better. It gave me higher damage.
